As its name suggests, ‘Minnow’ is a ‘small’ 18th century worker's cottage in the historic Cornish town of Lostwithiel. It’s rustic up-cycled décor alongside modern additions such as underfloor heating, wood burner and roll top bath, makes it a rare haven for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing escape. A perfect retreat after days spent exploring everything Cornwall has to offer. We are dog friendly too!

Bell Tent with river views

Off gird, self catered 6 meter bell tent on St Winnow campsite. A chance to enjoy the peaceful location by the river without having to bring your own tent. St Winnow campsite is a back to basics campsite located within an apple orchard right on the banks of the River Fowey. Its part of a working farm and boat yard where camper numbers are kept low to maintain a quiet and relaxing atmosphere throughout the campsite. Its 3 miles from Lostwithiel which has all the local amenities you may need.

The Shire House - Blissful Joyful - One Bedroom

The Shire House is grade II listed and dates from 1780. Situated in the heart of Lostwithiel and with the river Fowey just 30 steps away. This is a Georgian townhouse with a walled garden full of sun. Expect lots of character, with contemporary design, and with up to the minute amenities. The minimum stay is usually 3 nights but do contact me if you are only looking for 2 nights as this may be possible. And if you need more than one bedroom we can happily discuss a price for your requirement.

The Annex, Double Bed, Parking, Quiet.

The Annex is a private, self contained space adjoined to the rear of our house. It has it's own parking space, a standard double bed (195cm length bed wall to wall), shower room and private outdoor seating area. The mainline train is 5 minutes walk from The Annex. Lostwithiel also has a selection of pubs, a fine dining restaurant, Indian and Chinese takeaways, independent shops, riverside and woodland walks all within walking distance. The Eden Project is a 10 minute drive away. Adults only.

The Burrow

The Burrow is a quirky and snuggly little bolthole. Small, well behaved dogs are welcome. (No large breeds. Maximum cocker spaniel size, PLEASE respect this). Enjoy the fenced, enclosed garden with views across the fields. A short walk from the local dog friendly pub. kitchen, lounge with woodburner (logs supplied). Smart TV, wifi, king size bed, (electric blanket in winter), air fryer, shared washing machine/dryer, parking and storage for bikes etc. Private hot tub, (bring flip flops!)

Rural Barn Conversion, Boconnoc, Lostwithiel

Set on the edge of Boconnoc Estate and the outskirts of Lostwithiel you will find our large 1 bedroom converted barn. We are quite centrally located in Cornwall. South coast beaches can be found 5 miles away with the north coast being around 20 miles away. You will find so many things to do including walking, sightseeing, fishing, visiting many types of attractions. We offer a warm welcome and as much or as little interaction as you prefer. You will find yourself surrounded by nature.

Manor House at Botelet Farm

Manor House is grade II listed, set amongst an array of historic buildings at Botelet Farm, with a large private garden to the rear and views reaching across rolling fields and up to Bury Down iron age hill fort. Nestled in a valley in South East Cornwall, staying at Manor offers the chance for a peaceful escape with 300 acres to explore, safe spaces for children to play, chickens wandering free range outside, a trampoline in the orchard, and therapeutic massage and wellbeing workshops.

Redlake Roundhouse Retreat- Cornwall

A cosy roundhouse made almost entirely of upcycled materials. We live in the hamlet of Redlake, which is halfway along the road from Lostwithiel to Lerryn. The roundhouse is in its own little paddock with horsebox bathroom with compost toilet, large shower and washbasin, there is also a small outside kitchen. You will have a firepit/bbq to spend peaceful evenings around. Surrounded by beautiful untouched countryside and close to some of the best beaches and secret coves you will find.

Little Lea is a cosy, newly renovated studio apartment, with a mezzanine level double bed, compact kitchenette, bathroom with shower and free parking. A 7-8 minute walk down the hill will get you to the centre of the historical town of Lostwithiel where there are a variety of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket and the beautiful River Fowey. Lostwithiel Railway Station is a 5 minute walk, and is on the mainline from London to Penzance.

The Barn studio is situated next to the Main Farm House so you are completely private to come and go as you wish. We have an outdoor seating area opposite the Studio We provide Tea, coffee, sugar milk.
