Lost Cottage is typically a small, granite & slate, Cornish cottage. You’ll find it right in the heart of the Medieval town of Lostwithiel. This ancient stannary town dates back to the 12th century & it's one of the most vibrant & lively communities in Cornwall. Car parking in Lostwithiel is free both on-street & in the public car parks. Lost Cottage, a lovely, comfortable, 2 double bed cottage, perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful town & surrounding countryside, & the rest of Cornwall.

South coast beaches can be found 5 miles away with the north coast being around 20 miles away. You will find so many things to do including walking, sightseeing, fishing, visiting many types of attractions. We offer a warm welcome and as much or as little interaction as you prefer. Lostwithiel Railway Station is a 5 minute walk, and is on the mainline from London to Penzance.

The Shire House is grade II listed and dates from 1780. Situated in the heart of Lostwithiel and with the river Fowey just 30 steps away. This is a Georgian townhouse with a walled garden full of sun. Expect lots of character, with contemporary design, and with up to the minute amenities.
