The Little Green Guest House

We picked the perfect location for exploring New River Gorge! We actually live here and LOVE it. Over the last 2 years, we completely rebuilt this Little Guest House from the ground up while exploring and putting together the local's ultimate guidebook of the area. Our goal was to make a cozy and cute cottage to highlight why we love WV so much. We strive for eco-friendly practices because we want to see this place clean and thriving for our kids and visitors to enjoy for years to come.

Set on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful pond, this cabin will give you a taste of the West Virginia outdoors. The perfect affordable base camp for outdoor enthusiasts. You'll spend most of your time outside enjoying the deck and the view but when you move inside you'll have a comfortable queen bed and a futon to sleep on. A basic kitchen has everything you need.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Our place is on a little dirt road with a beautiful view of the sun rising over the mountains and horses grazing in the field. Off the main road approximately 1/10 of a mile with no traffic in front of the house. Beautiful backyard with a fire pit and grill, also corn hole for outdoor fun. Remote but accessible small cozy family home/cabin with 2-bedroom and 1 bath. 2 twin beds, 1 queen, and 1 pull out couch. Quiet and peaceful with woods surrounding area on 2 acres. House was built in the 1960's but some renovations have been done on the inside. Near route 60 off of old route 41. Located 5 miles from Babcock state park, 15 miles from New River Gorge Bridge, and 2 miles from Clifftop. This is a weekend getaway for our family, we do not live on the premises.
