We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

Spent the weekend at Hillcrest Hideaway and it didn’t disappoint. Prosecco and brownies on arrival with a personalised welcome sign, The place was clean and spacious with lots of natural light. We enjoyed both the sauna and hot tub. All instructions were very clear on how to use. Check-in was very easy and host were around if we ever needed any assistance which we didn’t. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a stunning location. The climb down (but more importantly, the climb up!) is worth it. Loved being so close to the sea with such a wonderful view. the cabin is very comfortable and warm with an impressively well-stocked kitchen: plenty of crockery and cutlery; there is even a waffle maker! Be warned that the closest beach is a steep climb down (and back up - 180 steps plus a long steep slope) so be prepared for that. We were certainly fitter by the end of the week. We didn’t venture off too much - I preferred to sit outside and appreciated having 3 different seating areas to choose from. We used the hot tub nearly every night, with some wonderful sunsets and clear starry nights. The Halfway House at Polbathic served a great Sunday lunch (don’t confuse it with the one at Kingsand like we did - happens all the time apparently!) and Room Smiths and Player Ready in Plymouth kept our boys entertained when the rain was lashing down (we took the ferry over from Torpoint).

We had a great weekend stay! Loved every minute! Felt so relaxed at the end of our stay. Hosts were amazing and we loved Missy the dog coming to visit us 🥰

This was our third time staying at Torvale and we loved it! The place was easy to find and get into, it was clean and tidy, and we were given some lovely welcome treats to make the holiday extra special. The facilities are fantastic - the hot tub is a particular favourite - and we always love how private and comfortable Torvale is. The hosts are also great - always helpful, easy to contact and very welcoming. Can't recommend enough!

Stayed for my 40th birthday followed directions and used what 3 words worked great no issues finding it. I would recommend bring some food with you as shops are quite far away. The pub wasn't open when we were there and the closest spar had limited choice of food but everything in kitchen worked great. Had a very relaxing stay enjoyed hot tub and sauna. A few places on the local recommendations have now closed but otherwise would def recommend to friends. Cooper loved running around in wildflowers, stream and looking out the huge windows at birds and squirrels. Loved it 🥰

Sophie and Rob made us feel at home. Lovely touch a card and bottle of bubbles. Surroundings peaceful and very relaxing. Fishing was great. Will definitely return.

we had a lovely break.very relaxing . The site and accommodation was very clean . the swimming pool looked very inviting but we did not have enough time to use unfortunately.

Just returned from a wonderfully, peaceful and relaxing stay, the location of the property is great, the views were spectacular, the hosts gave us all the information we needed and the property was exactly as the pictures showed and better, The property was very private a spotlessly clean, it was a great place to take our dog with many country side walks nearby Cannot recommend this property enough

I cannot recommend this place enough. On arrival there were flowers, bread, milk etc and even an Easter chocolate bunny. The whole place is so comfortable, homely and cosy. The location couldn’t have been more central and perfect for accessing all of Cornwall, we weren’t short of things to do. It’s so rare to find a wheelchair accessible AirBnB too so it was so wonderful to arrive and find I could get around easily, the ramp wasn’t steep, the bathroom was accessible with grab bars etc. So much had been thought of. Everyone was so friendly too. We felt really comfortable but had a lot of privacy too. We will most definitely be back!

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Old Tea Hut. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, with the most amazing views. A special place to stay regardless of the season, we were treated to mostly sunny weather (the sunset was incredible across the bay!) but even on a rainy day it was great to look out and enjoy the property. Lots to do in the local area - we enjoyed a good dinner at the Finnygook Inn, golf at Whitsand Bay Golf Club, and lunch at the Cliff Top Cafe.

We had a fantastic stay at Mapowder Lodge. The lodge is immaculate with everything you could possibly need. The most ‘dog friendly’ accommodation we have ever visited. The patio area was secure and the use of the paddock was fantastic. Michelle our host was super friendly, told us this morning that the swallows have returned! Would recommend the cafe in the garden centre opposite for breakfast. Fantastic find and we will be returning.

Our second stay at Arawans lodge with Bailey our Labradoodle. Perfect location to stroll into Penryn (quiz night at the Famous Barrel) and to visit the coast and surrounding towns/villages. We visited Falmouth (folk night at the Moth and Moon), boat trip to St Mawes, Mylor, St Agnes, St Ives, Porthleven and Helford Passage (amazing meal at the Ferry Boat Inn). Brilliant transport links if you don’t want to use the car. The accommodation was clean and tidy, with wine and some fridge supplies. Arawan and her husband (and Labradoodle) were extremely friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back again!

We loved our stay here, we have 2 kids, 4 and 8 and they loved the accommodation setup. The whole feel of the log cabin is perfect for a family holiday, the location is perfectly centred for visiting north and south Cornwall coasts. The pool and restaurant with entertainment are a great addition.

we unfortunately needed something longer term and warmer for the winter but our stay felt right at home. Toni and Simon were very helpful and friendly. Thank you for all of your kindness.

Tom’s place is a clean, warm and snug cabin - we stayed in cold weather and there was a big rain storm overnight. It was lovely to feel so well insulated from the weather! Generous amount of firewood provided. Everything was of good quality - furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment - and worked well. As an organic farmer, Tom provides a stash of herbal teas, and the soaps, shower gels and washing up liquids are all suitable brands for vegans (Faith in Nature, Ecover) - very much appreciated! Lovely setting, at night there was nothing to hear but tawny owls. In daylight a beautiful south facing view over fields and hills and bullfinches foraging outside the window. This would also be a wonderful summer stay with garden furniture to enjoy. Tom was a friendly host and responded quickly to messages, giving assurances we could contact him about anything. Neighbours and local people unvaryingly friendly and kind. Excellent local shops in Buckfastleigh with fresh local produce.

A great lodge in a secluded area of the camp site, easily accessible and with car parking adjacent. WiFi worked well as did the TV and all other appliances. Welcome pack good, enough as a well stocked shop was within the village. Several restaurants also within walking distance or a short drive, would recommend the Pityme Inm, good value and plenty of seating. Local sailing club open to visitors and had a good view of the estuary, fish nd chips on Friday on first come first served basis. Taking all into account I would thoroughly recommend this lodge for a comfortable stay. Bob T

The Bothy is a stunning place to stay, and was a perfect end to a few days in Cornwall! The location is easy to find, very private and secluded and very nice place to relax. It's basic, but provides everything you need for getting away. Port Quin is a stunning sunset walk straight down the road and is in easy reach. Everything else is accessible via car, and up to a maximum of 20 minutes away. WiFi works on the porch area of The Bothy, but not inside it. Signal works outside the back The Bothy if required, but the WiFi was a perfect addition. Mark is a great host, providing us with a last minute booking alongside providing us with an information pack about the area and on hand for any questions. Thank you for a lovely place to stay!

Perfect getaway in Cornwall. Really cosy shepherds hut with everything you need, plus the sauna and ice bath was a bonus! Though it's located by a main road it still felt secluded and quiet. Great to explore parts of Cornwall only half an hour drive away. Would visit again!

We had a fantastic stay, Cat and Olly were very responsive via the chat. Gave us clear instructions before checking in, spacious parking and easy to find. It was my boyfriends birthday and they put up a birthday banner and made us a balloon dog before our arrival. I also forgot a candle and they kindly gave me one swiftly and secretly. Location is fantastic for walking to Fistral beach and into Newquay town for drinks and food. There are electric bikes a stones throw away from the house, which was really fun. I would highly recommend and would stay there again. Only one thing to mention, the bathroom is connected but you need to walk outside to get inside, so in the winter it might be cold to walk to and from when showering. Otherwise, very clean and comfortable. Thanks so much.

This was the perfect little escape from work. The village was peaceful and exactly what we needed. The Airbnb was just as described—cozy, quiet, and easy to find, thanks to Brian’s clear instructions. We felt welcome right away. We visited Roskilly's and the local pub, but mostly just enjoyed the sound of birds, the stream, and the beautiful garden on the property. We had hoped to do a BBQ, but the weather had other plans! Instead, we enjoyed some lovely, peaceful walks through the nearby meadows and truly took time to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend this lovely stay. The hosts were great, and the locals were so friendly too. Thanks Brian, Bethan and Kate 😍
