I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

The property has the most amazing views of the loch and we sat out every evening on the picnic bench overlooking the scenery. We were of course very lucky we had sun, but i imagine even in rain, the property would feel cosy and there are amazing views from the lounge and kitchen. Brian, the host, was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. Check in was easy and Brian gave local recommendations for us too. All of us also said that the beds were super comfy and, as we ate in almost every night, the kitchen facilities were excellent. We hope to be back to this wonderful spot again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s home in Fearnan. The house was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and perfectly located just across from the beautiful Loch Tay. We were lucky to enjoy great weather, which made the views even more special. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals, and we appreciated how close everything was — including a great local shop, The Courtyard Shop & Delicatessen in nearby Kenmore. Communication with Kim was fast and helpful, check-in was smooth, and the neighbors we met were kind and welcoming. One small note: the beds might feel a bit tight for two people, but the spacious upstairs living area helped balance that out. We’d definitely love to come back — it’s a quiet, charming place that’s easy to feel at home in.

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

An absolute gem of a place to stay . Every detail thought of, clean and the views were spectacular in a prime and stunning location . We have had an amazing and magical 4 days staying here and thoroughly enjoyed it . Highly recommend this place and has made our first visit to Scotland incredible, we will definitely be coming back sometime soon.

Elizabeth’s Airbnb is an absolutely amazing place to stay. It is secluded, beautiful and so incredibly comfortable. The view is stunning with the lake nearby. The kitchen is very well equipped with a two lovely bathrooms and two big bedrooms. The lounge area is very comfy as well. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, modern and perfect stay in the beautiful mountain countryside of Scotland. We wish we didn’t have to leave. Thank you for having us. 😊

We have really enjoyed staying at Ann's lovely home. It was clean, spacious and plenty of games for evenings and rainy days. The location is amazing and can easily explore Inveraray on foot. Would definitely love to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟

The location was absolutely gorgeous with a lot of surrounding mountains and beautiful countryside. The house itself was just as described, very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. Lisa and Andrew are amazing hosts, very helpful and flexible with check in/check out times. They gave us a lot of recommendations on hikes and places to eat nearby. We will definitely be back again 😊

Très bel emplacement pour cet appartement. Il s’agit bien d’un appartement parmi d’autres dans l’abbaye. Belle vue sur le loch ness.

Nous avons passé trois nuits fabuleuses dans l'appartement de Sarah. Outre la vue (aussi magnifique que sur les photos), il est grand, confortable et particulièrement bien équipé. Parfaitement situé pour rayonner dans les Highlands, bref à recommander sans hésiter !

Great host very responsive. The was place was lovely very comfortable and close to all the things you need a wee shop some pubs and some where to eat. Perfect spot for a wee getaway 😊

Great location with beautiful runs along the loch. Anne a great host with lots of good tips. Had great meals walking down to duck bay and nearby drive to Loch Lomond arms in Luss.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Chris et Sarah. Le logement était parfaitement propre et très bien équipé, notamment pour cuisiner. La literie était très confortable et les hôtes particulièrement accueillants et aidants.

Sehr zu empfehlen für 1-2 Wochen mit Kindern (4&7) für Ausflüge in der Umgebung, egal ob Fähre auf die Isle of Mull oder Zug von Arrochard&Tarbet nach Corrour (sehr einsam, super für Wanderungen) oder die Wanderung von Inveraray Castle zum Dun Na Cuaiche Watchtower). Die Gastgeber waren super hilfsbereit und sehr diskret, immer bereit zu helfen oder Tipps zu geben. Küche perfekt ausgestattet, auch alle Basic Zutaten, tolles Esszimmer, super gemütliches Doppelbett. Insgesamt eine perfekte Airbnb Erfahrung! Vielen Dank!

Wonderful place and hosts! Caroline and her husband were wonderful, made our anniversary very special. The wood fired hot tub was such a delight after some long hikes in the mountains and they made sure it was perfectly heated for us each night. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. left is some treats that were amazing and it's just such a cozy cottage. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

We left this morning and want to go back. The only noise we heard was the call of birds and the gentle lapping of the water on the beach. The Bothy is toasty warm and we didn't need the log burner. Everything you need is supplied. It is also very convenient for many attractions and lots of walks. We booked to see wildlife and go on scenic walks. It didn't disappoint. We've seen Golden Eagles, Osprey, Hen Harriers, a Merlin, Newts, tadpoles, too many little birds to mention, and whilst on the Jacobite Steam Train we saw the White Tailed Eagle. Thank you to Melanie and Peter. Lovely hosts, welcoming but gave us privacy.

Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞

Fantastic location and beautiful house with everything you could need for your stay. Lovely box of shortbread on our arrival which was a nice find 🙂 surrounding countryside was very walkable and also able to get to the river. Highly recommend this house it was super.

This is an absolutely stunning place to spend a few days in complete peace. It is impossible not to relax here. The view is quite the most phenomenal- the loch, the mountains, the wildlife... just beautiful! The property has everything you need for a restful, comfortable and peaceful stay. Attentive and friendly hosts make sure you have what you need and able to give excellent advice on things to do and how to make friends with the local wildlife who visit frequently. A truly gorgeous place where we have made some wonderful memories.
