Beudy’r Esgob

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. Glan Rhyd is a 200 year-old country cottage idyll, centrally situated with easy access to the whole of Anglesey. Secluded within its own tree-lined wildflower meadow alongside the River Alaw, it offers peace and tranquility second to none. The cottage is semi-detached with its own entrance, parking & facilities including modern kitchen, en suite bathroom, shower & Sky TV. The owner lives next door, and the resident (wild) owls live at the bottom of the meadow! Pets unfortunately not allowed.

This cosy one bedroom cabin , handcrafted from Welsh larch, is nestled in a peaceful and quiet location on the edge of Newborough forest. A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. We love to welcome all guests to our converted dairy Tylluan Wen (Barn Owl) which is a stone building attached to the main house. The cottage can sleep up to 4 persons in one double and one twin room. We are a growing smallholding with alpacas, sheep and chickens. We also have two dogs. Tylluan Wen is located close to an area of outstanding natural beauty, with stunning scenery and easy access to the coast, attractions and transport routes. * Hot tub has extra charge.
