We had to come into town for a funeral and our original house didn't work out. The other house canceled right before we got on the road and we were able to book this at the last minute. These hosts were very accommodating and responsive! They made sure the driveway and sidewalks were cleared from snow and put down extra salt. The house has a beautiful view of the lake, even in the winter, and it was the perfect relaxing spot for me and my family. It is spacious, clean and cozy. Would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this nice house near Rush Lake when visiting from out of state for a lake swim. Very quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen is well-organized. House was very clean. Good location, short drive to Busch's grocery store, which is a real bonus. Rented kayaks and enjoyed seeing the cool birds (heron/swans) on the lake.

Beautiful log cabin style retreat on the lake. We felt like we were far away in northern Michigan but only 30 minutes outside of metro Detroit. Really responsive host and a good value. Appreciated the flexible check-in and being able to bring our two small dogs. Lots to do in nearby Brighton too. Highly recommend!

This place was awesome. Lots of space in the living room and dining area. Outside space was spectacular, dining area, fire pit and dock. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It’s my first AirB&B, it is a lake cottage, reminiscent of a time when life was not complicated. A time when vacation meant making memories that would last a lifetime. It was well furnished,and very comfortable. There are lounge chairs in the front closet and a fire pit in the back yard. At the residence we were only steps from the water’s edge.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is inviting and tastefully decorated. The beds were really comfortable too! Watching the sunset on the lake was breathtaking. We will definitely return to enjoy in the summer.

We've been traveling regularly to Brighton but wanted something other than a hotel, the Black Marlin was perfectly located so we could enjoy all of our activities yet still escape to this peaceful lakeside oasis. Enjoyed the water toys, relaxed with lunches at the back bar and started each day with coffee overlooking the lake and sunrise. Good times were had and memories made ... we'll be back for sure!

This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

Wonderful stay here for my 6 year anniversary with my girlfriend. Loved the bath and bathroom in general the tv was a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable, slept amazing. Beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning off the lake. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for a great airbnb stay!

Dixie is a really friendly, kind, and helpful host. The home is in a very beautiful, peaceful location next to a river with plenty of places to walk and eat. A really cute town! We were very comfortable here and it was nice to be able to have our little dog with us :)

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful experience at Dinara’s home. Everything listed was accurate and the town was nice with great restaurants only a few minutes walk away. Fully enjoyed my time and look forward to visiting again.

Terry is very helpful, responsive, caring, and proactive. I enjoyed his place a lot and will recommend for any out of town guests. It’s very cozy, clean, and well-decorated. It was a perfect place for me to stay; close to the lake, restaurants, and shopping. Thank you for everything!

We live in Oakland county and just came out for a one night retreat to visiting some friends in Ann Arbor. Judy's place was great and we really enjoyed the stay. The surrounding is beautiful and the lake access is awesome. We did some bonfire and kayaking, the area has an upnorth feel. We appreciate the hospitality and will look to come back some time.

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

We had a wonderful stay. Exactly the peace and quiet we needed and a fun trip out on the canoe. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Very nice cabin in a quiet area on a small lake. Sherry was very friendly and responsive to our requests. This was the perfect "home away from home" for our little swimming adventure. we'll come back next year if we can.

The Waterloo Cottage is a wonderful getaway for family! We enjoyed the quaint cottage and the beautiful lake. The fire pit and the grill added to the charm and the kayaking made for a fun experience. The home and location were absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as listed and was so beautiful and homey. I just wish the weather had been a bit warmer to fully enjoy the outdoor seating and activities. I highly recommend and hope to visit again. Thanks so much!

This is a great place to stay, especially with the view of the lake. And very thoughtful hosts who really tried to think of everything you might want at a lake property. Would love to come back when the weather is better!!
