Gorgeous studio barn with high ceilings located in a quiet location with your own private access to a peaceful sunny dog-fenced orchard for your use. I am a superhost. Sitting room area with little Everhot stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a huge shower and a mezzanine bedroom with a handmade bed with beautiful linen and a down duvet. Close to Clare, Bury, Newmarket and Long Melford with walks on the doorstep. Please note I live on the property too so you will see me and my dogs.

This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

Pipistrelle is a beautiful, purpose-built holiday home in the heart of the peaceful Suffolk countryside. This stunning property overlooks the village green to the front and paddocks to the rear and has been designed with flair and includes many eco-features. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful Thatched Cottage, with a lovely garden. Set in the middle of a family Stud Farm, with Mares and Foals in the surrounding Paddocks. The Cottage is within easy access of Newmarket, the home of racing, and the market town of Bury St Edmunds. Cambridge is in easy reach with good train links to London and easy access to Stansted airport. The cottage is set off a quiet country lane with good walking and bike rides to the local villages.

The house was tastefully decorated in July 2023 and comprises of a full kitchen, king bedroom with shower ensuite and a double bedroom with shower/bathroom to suit up to four guests. Located a 30 min stroll to the Abbey Gardens, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the many restaurants/cafes of Bury St Edmunds. The house is also only a 30 min walk to the West Suffolk Hospital, so is an ideal base whether it be to explore Bury or to visit patients or work at the hospital.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Nestled in the charming village of Horringer, Lodge Gate cottage is a stones throw away from the National Park Ickworth and a 4 minute drive from Bury St Edmund’s. The property is designed to give you a home from home experience. The master bedroom has a super king size bed with 5000 pocket spring natural organic Artisan Mattress. The second bedroom has a king size bed also with a 5000 pocket spring natural Artisan mattress.

Our converted barn is in a peaceful location and beautiful setting. In close proximity to a stunning local nature reserve and a short drive from historic Bury St Edmunds and Lavenham. The station in the local village of Thurston offers regular services to Cambridge and Norwich. The area has plenty of country walks,great pubs and restaurants, and the Suffolk coast is within an hours drive.
