Great location in a walkable neighborhood of Black Mountain, NC. House is warm and inviting. We enjoyed our time there. Rooms are small and it is hard to imagine 12 people staying in this place. We are a family of 8 and it seemed a bit cramped at times. If you plan to eat meals together at the house it would be difficult to have seating for all; there is no real kitchen table. Kitchen is cozy, but they do have two, one upstairs and one downstairs in a cleverly concealed staircase. There is no dishwasher, so be prepared to wash and dry dishes if you eat at the house. Kids really enjoyed to pool and hot tub. Also the inside of the house is warm and inviting, personal decorations and books and toys will make a family feel right at home or potentially nervous that something will be left out of place or broken. Overall, we felt the place suited our needs and we were thankful for our time there. Hosts clearly love their home and have done a nice job making it a place that is inviting.

The views from the porch are amazing! There’s tons of stuff to do at the house, you don’t even have to leave. Check in was easy, check out was even easier, and Blanche was very effective at communicating throughout our stay. Would definitely come back here!

It needs upgrade, kitchen utensils were not enough and also majority of the plates are either worn out or chipped. When spoke to the property management they were understanding and had promised to fix

A wonderful home stocked with all the essentials to make a pleasant stay! Amanda is a great communicator and fabulous host. Pool, hot tub, and ping pong table are amenities packed in an efficient and spacious home. I was thrilled with the kitchen setup, and my family loved having two separate living room spaces. The porch is very nice, and overlooks both the pool and hot tub. Linens are clean. Decorations are minimal and homey. Plenty of space for a family or group to come together. Neighborhood is great and less than 5 minutes to Tanger Outlets, restaurants, grocery and Blue Ridge Parkway. Everything else is an easy 15-20 minutes away, from Biltmore to Downtown Asheville, everything feels like it is at your fingertips. What a great stay, we look forward to coming back when the pool is open!

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Highly recommended!

The house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for my family to all spend time together or to hang off by themselves if they wanted. Owners were very successful in preparing the property to make you feel right at home. The layout was great and there were plenty of things to do nearby. You had a real mountain feel with anything you may need a quick drive away. I appreciated how responsive the hosts were. We have family in the area and plan to stay again in the future. Great area and perfect if you want too be out of the town area

This will be our second time renting one of Jon's properties. The house has a beautiful side view of the mountains. Feels like home in all of Jon's properties. Very clean and spacious.

Tonya’s place had everything we could have needed. The bed was comfy, the layout spacious —we felt right at home. The backyard was very peaceful and beautiful as well. I would definitely book again.

GREAT HOUSE! This property is really beautiful in addition to being clean with perfect amenities from great towels and linens to a washer and dryer and an extra bath off the kitchen. Highly recommend!

We stayed here to attend a wedding in the area. The host was very communicative, the house was very nice, clean and comfortable. Would stay here in the future if we are ever in the area again.

Beautiful home, very comfortable for groups that seek private bedrooms. Also has very comfortable mattresses (some very firm, which I like). Close to Beech Mountain ski resort & beautiful views. Kitchen, dining & living area all open with a ton of windows. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay here was fantastic! The house is exactly as pictured, and truly has everything you could need during your stay. The pictures of the view don’t do it justice, it’s surreal and extremely beautiful. The house is cozy, quite private, and in a great location! We will definitely be back :)

The views were stunning, the rooms were cozy and well-designed, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The Ivy house was amazing. I loved the location. It was an adventure going up the mountain to the house, the roads were all well maintained all the way to the driveway. The house was great, it had the cabin charm with all the right upgrades and modern comforts. The kitchen was well stocked and the hosts even provided a home warming care package. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked. The bedrooms were spotless with clean linens and comfortable beds. The house had plenty of room and the game room provided so much entertainment for our family. It was honestly better than a home away from home. The views from the wraparound deck were amazing. I would definitely come back again and recommend to our friends. Benjamin & Sommer were always available and great communicators.

Lovely home that felt like it was brand new, but it was also quite comfortable. Loved the fireplace and view of sunrise on the trees, fresh air, and having a secluded retreat close to all the Asheville happenings. Great communications from our host and we would definitely stay here again!

The host was very sweet and helped me when I had a problem on airbnb and was always there wHen something came up. The back yard was nice and big and I loved the willow tree in the back yard.
