Casa práctica para ir en familia, buena distribución y una cocina que te invita a usarla... Zona privada, adónde se respira paz y tranquilidad rodeado de arboles y animales. Lo recomiendo al 100% si vas con la mentalidad de conectarse con la naturaleza y descansar. Tomen en cuenta que al estar en una zona boscosa hay mucho insecto, no obstante, es lo normal en la zona. Esperamos regresar el próximo año.

Wow, what a stay! The house is just beautiful. Even better than the photos. The garden has been landscaped so it is so private, despite having neighbours, the house was spotlessly clean, the pool is just magical. Really great recommendations of things to do. I honestly couldn't fault it. Book it, you won't regret it! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Absolutely love this location and house. The pool is epic too and we loved the thunder and lightning storms. We had an amazing experience here and even extended our stay to spend more time in the mountains. Louey and Jessica are incredibly responsive and helpful with everything too.

This place is a MUST!! It's sp peaceful we never wanted to leave. The town and beach was really close along with some gorgeous waterfalls! The hill going up was a little scary at first and you will definitely want 4 wheel drive especially if it rains but once up there it felt like you was in the middle of the jungle but mins away from society. There was some electric issues when the storm came but Monica was so very helpful and responsive and they had everything you needed. We have shared this with all of our friends and we will be back !

Todo fue absolutamente excelente, desde la belleza del lugar hasta la seguridad que se siente al estar ahí. Me gustó mucho la ubicación, a solo pasos de la playa. El lugar es tal como se ve en las fotos. Lo que realmente hizo que mi experiencia fuera inolvidable fue la increíble biodiversidad del área. Pudimos ver osos perezosos, monos y una variedad de animales que nos dejaron encantados. Fue una experiencia bellísima poder conectar con la naturaleza de esta manera. El anfitrión fue super atento y respondió a todas mis preguntas de manera rápida y eficiente. La comunicación fue excelente desde el principio hasta el final. ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

This place was so peaceful & beautiful! The beach was walking distance for the daytime and pool was exactly what we needed to relax at night. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The rooms were immaculate & stunning. The host responded very quickly and was helped up with whatever we needed. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Martina and the place were absolutely spectacular. Upon arrival, you are taken away to another place with the lush jungle, amazing landscaping, and beautiful views overlooking the Uvita Whale’s Tail below. The property and house are perfect and the location is great as well as you are a less than 10 minute from the town of Uvita with lots of great restaurants & amenities. Can’t wait to come back at is it absolute paradise!

All the reviews on this beautiful home are well deserved. It’s stunning and so thoughtfully designed to a very high standard (I’m an interior designer and can see the thought and love that has gone into the details). The highlight for us was the pool, many a morning and afternoons spent there with our children looking into the jungle and ocean view. Host is so responsive and accommodating. Local area is great too, lots to do but it’s not too touristy either, Thanks so much. If we return to Costa Rica it will 💯 be back to Casa Markissa.

Absolutely beautiful place. Paradise Pictures don’t do it justice. Sitting on the patio having coffee every morning listening to the sounds of the rainforest is a truly incredible experience. Everything you need is here. There’s a small marketplace and 2 spectacular restaurants about 500meters up the hill. You can walk to them but you better be in great shape. I would recommend driving. Also highly recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle.

We enjoyed this beautiful home for a family reunion and were delighted with everything! Roberto & Diana were always available for friendly advice and support (for the only thing we needed, a replacement bbq propane tank). We hope to return to their place in Uvita

This home is nothing short of amazing. Amazing views, amazing wild life, amazing staff. We felt safe and welcomed in this beautiful country. A shop and two restaurants are just a minute walk outside the gated area. Food at the restaurants was great. Thank you Giovanna for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Great spot, loved it, lots to do and close to what we wanted to do at coast without quite the people or super hot temps of being right at the beach.

The host went above and beyond, very well in communication and made us feel right at home. Coordinated when we needed some cleaning done during our stay and assisted when picking up our vehicle took much longer than expected after our designated check in. They made sure we were able to find the location of the property since we came in the middle of the night. would love to come and stay again in the future.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Matt’s place. It was the perfect location and had the most beautiful views. We were able to enjoy the whole property as if it were our own, taking in all the beauty it has to offer. We really enjoyed watching the howler monkeys and toucans (amongst other creatures) that frequented the property. The beds were super comfortable and the pool was the cherry on top. Matt is a superb host, incredibly helpful and friendly, he has a real gem here, I would recommend it to anyone looking to travel in the area to not hesitate and book Matts place. You won’t regret it.

Everything about this experience was a dream. The house is even better in person and the hosts were so easy to work with and made our experience seamless. They arranged our transportation to/from the airport and the rental car booking and delivery (which you will need), making it easy to immediately go into vacation mode. Highly recommend getting a private chef for a night or two - the food was delicious and locally sourced, giving an authentic experience. The shopping center (literally behind the house) had a well-stocked market and two good restaurants, Sibu and Scala. Get the traditional breakfast at Sibu - it was amazing. The hosts were very responsive no matter the time. The location is great - next to different beaches and central to restaurants, grocery stores, and other attractions. Waking up amongst the tucans and natural wildlife was amazing. This was an unforgettable vacation, largely due to the house and our hosts. Book this for your vacation - you won't regret it.

We came to the jungle villa in 2018. We were so enchanted by this house and the beauty of its surroundings that we knew we would be back again. Came back again for my birthday this year and yes it felt like home!! The people, the FOOD in the local restaurants, and the beauty of this country is amazing! Looking forward to returning someday. Thank you Leslie, Ana, and Arturo for being amazing hosts.

Un hospedaje bastante bueno para vacacionar en familia, amplio espacio y atención muy buena además de rápida

We loved staying at this beautiful house right next to the jungle in Cahuita. The house is very spacious, surrounded by nature, in a very quiet and safe area. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are designed for comfort. We were a group of six family members and felt at home. We really enjoyed the pool, the outdoor terrace area with sun beds and picnic table, and the garden. The property also has a tennis court, which is a fun extra for family activities. Cahuita National park entrance by Playa Blanca is only about 5 mins away by car, also a supermarket and various restaurants and bars. Antonio and Paulette are very kind and attentive and we all left feeling happy and grateful. Highly recommended!

Disfrutamos de una hermosa y tranquila estadía en este hermoso alojamiento en conexión con la naturaleza. Mi familia y yo estamos agradecidos porque desde el primer momento la comunicación fue excelente, el ingreso y salida del alojamiento fue fantástico, ofrece mucha privacidad, la piscina es de lo que más disfrutamos, la casa es aún más bella que lo que se muestra en fotos, definitivamente esperamos volver pronto.

We had a wonderful time in Ojochal at Isabelle's house. It was a lovely cozy house! Just perfect for all of us! I would definitely stay there again.
