We had a wonderful few day's stay in John's beautiful cottage. John is very engaging and even phoned while we were on our way to Holy Island to make sure we had received the key code and to see if we had any questions. On arrival everything was in order and Johns instructions on how to find his cottage were perfect. The cottage is incredibly well situated in the village with stunning views of the castle from the kitchen, garden and both bedrooms. We could have just spent our whole time on Hoy Island sat on the patio in the sunshine taking in the incredible view! The cottage is very up to date and the kitchen is well-equipped if you are more inclined to self cater. Everything in the village is only a few minutes walk away. There is a pub virtually next door and another pub two minutes away, also several cafes. There is also a gin shop right next door! There is room to park one car right outside and an EV charging point if you need one. All in all this is a fantastic property.

The cottage is lovely with beautiful surroundings. The living room in particular is stunning. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Our eldest (11) loved the loft bedroom. Instructions from Liz were excellent and using what3words we found the cottage with no issues. The area is gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife on the way which was great. The cottage is about an hour away from the centre of Edinburgh, so it’s ideal if you’re wanting to visit Edinburgh but stay away from the noise of a city. A really lovely accomodation that met our needs. Spacious caravan that easily accomodared 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. We felt at home there and it was really well equipped. The site where it is situated is idyllic and beautiful with lovely walks and beaches. We qould love to return for a longer stay to explore more of this beautiful piece of Scotland. This was a beautiful place to stay, very peaceful, clean and tidy. The view from the hot tub was lovely. We felt very lucky to find this place for a single night stay as it seems you usually have to book multiple nights. We often grab the chance at a night away whenever we can as parents of a young family so we will be keeping our eyes peeled to see if any further 1 night availability appears in future as we would definitely return. I was very pleased with my stay in Edinburgh! Valentina’s place was lovely and in a convenient location for exploring the city along with all it has to offer. I had a great experience.

A really cosy and comfortable place in a fab location and very good value for money.

We've stayed there a couple of times now as its a handy stop off between the Highlands and Hampshire. Its always met our needs and never let us down.

Another wonderful stay at Red Stables. The views from the lounge and hot tub are to die for, you're absolutely in the middle of the countryside and it's so quiet and peaceful. Head to the tub to completely wind down or stay connected via the high speed WiFi if you must! You can stream movies or your favourites on the internet connected Tv. Plus there's a great Farm Shop and Cafe five minutes away in the car. Highly recommended.

Perfect home and location for my 4 year old son, partner and I. The home has everything you need and is very close to walkable amenities including coop, cafes, beach and boat trips. 100% recommend.
