We could not recommend this stay more highly. The house is just incredible. Immaculate, beautiful, has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We felt at home all week and Kate couldn’t do more to accommodate us. Loved the hot tub and the tennis court was a true treat.

Thank you, Helen and Martin for a peaceful stay in such beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely time relaxing in the garden and in the hot tub. We visited one of the many local farms shops which was fab and the food at the Dinnington Docks pub was excellent! We would all definitely stay here again in future. The cottage is set up to be practical for kids, but not sure we’d want to bring ours and disturb that wonderful peace!!

What a fantastic find. Not even a 10 minute drive to longleat and 30 minutes to Bath. A beautiful home from home. The perfect place to visit with children, with books, toys and equipment. We cannot wait to come back.

Great stay Andy was available on our arrival to show us around and how to use things, beds were made up for the amount of guests and location is beautiful!

Perfect for what I wanted; peaceful, relaxing, clean and well equipped property. Sandra was friendly, helpful and available if needed. Greeted in arrival and show around, as well as how to use facilities.

We had a wonderful stay - the cottage is very homely. We had two under two with us and the wildlife walking distance from the cottage was a lovely bonus.

Wonderful house with beautiful decor and everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms were perfect. Lovely outdoor space and plenty of off road parking. Pub only a few mins walk away which served nice dinners. We will definitely be coming back to stay here soon!

A beautifully curated home of antiques, artefacts from world travels, pictures and books displayed creatively in every room, creating wonderful character and ambience, like no other Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. There is a great, bright cook’s kitchen/dining area, a huge family table for eating and playing games or listening to some classical music from a beautiful collection. A cosy lounge with log fire and tv, two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom that has a bath and separate walk in shower upstairs. Set in beautiful countryside, this is an outstanding location for peace and quiet, yet a short drive to historic Shaftesbury. Perfect for our family and two young children.
