My partner and I stayed for a long weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a big house, and while it’s on the “older” side, it was incredibly homey and cozy. There were blankets everywhere, plenty of spaces to relax and read a book! They thought of everything—from robes, slippers, hot tub towels to chargers in every corner! We didn’t cook much, but the kitchen was fully stocked. The backyard is cute, and the hot tub was lovely. Not the fanciest, but it got the job done. There’s absolutely nothing better than hearing the waves from the lake and seeing the sunsets/sunrises and stars at night. Super close to Point Pelee, which was a lovely day outing. The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly—great communication! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful stay!

Great experience! Cute and cozy little spot but close to so many things in Royal Oak. House was clean, local recommendations were helpful, and very easy check in and check out process. We would stay here again!

This home was perfect for our family! It was super clean and cozy. We were traveling with our toddler and they were very accommodating and brought us baby gates for the stairs. The labels on the doors and cabinets were also very helpful. They even had waters and snacks for us. The location is great and near lots of shops and restaurants. We were staying close to family nearby. Will definitely stay again next time we are in town!

We loved the hot tub space for our anniversary weekend. The basement bar was really awesome the arcade games and projector were a nice touch. Easy to get downtown. House was immaculate and comfortable. Everything as described maybe even better. Thanks so much Lux.

Unique group of apartments with plenty of space to accommodate a large group. Lots of parking & hosts were great to communicate with and had very clear expectations (which were super reasonable).

The pictures don't do justice to just how wonderful this house is. It's cosy and comfortable. Ally has stocked the house with everything we could possibly need for a great stay. The backyard was so peaceful! Ally is a wonderful host. We booked this place after cancelling another trip due to reasons out of our control. Ally was extremely understanding of our needs and helped us immensely to make sure we could have a great last minute trip. We are so grateful to Ally for saving our vacation plans!

I had a wonderful time staying at Leah's place for my birthday getaway. The house was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything I needed to feel at home. The added touch of dog treats was a pleasant surprise! However, I did notice some minor issues—there was leftover garbage in the kitchen bin, and there were a few insects in and around the house, which is understandable given the cottage setting. The hot tub and some outdoor amenities, like the open shed, also had larger spiders, which made it a bit challenging to use the kayaks and hot tub as much as I’d hoped. Despite these small concerns, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this villa for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
