It was our second time staying in this cabin and it was perfect for our group. We love the location and set up. Neil was responsive to our questions as well!

We had a great stay at Ariana's place in Spearfish! It was a clean and lovely home in a quiet neighborhood close to everything in Spearfish. A bonus (as listed) was the *private* fenced in backyard for our dogs, which we always appreciate. 🐕 The home was also a great value! We will definitely stay (and recommend others to stay) at Ariana's place again when we visit Spearfish in the future 😊

The house was beautiful and clean and in an excellent location, close to a grocery store, and the year round pool was so great! We loved that we could still swim outside with snow on the ground!

The Kickback Shack was a great place to stay for a quick getaway to ride snowmobiles. House was super nice and love the location - easy access to trails, restaurants and town. Highly recommended!

Had a very nice stay at this wonderful old gold mining town home. Very clean and nicely outfitted home. Did a very nice job of updating this old house yet leave enough of the originality of the place. Jaynie and Tom were always responsive for any of are needs.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The views were pleasant and it was a Quick drives to local attractions! The hot tub was a nice perk for ending your evening. I can’t speak for the other beds but the Master Bedroom bed didn’t work well for my husband’s back. Leo communicated well with us and left very clear instructions. If you looking for something that’s family oriented this is the home for you!

My family and I enjoyed the property so much! We had plenty of room for parking our snowmobile trailer as well as an abundance of forest surrounding the property, with tons of wildlife! Our dog was over-the-moon with all the space he was able to run. Very clean, spacious home with fully stocked kitchen and appliances. Hot showers and bath and tv’s for the kids to enjoy winding down at night. Deana and Toby were so helpful and friendly- really felt like home. We would love to come back again!

My group initially found it a little odd staying in someone's home (as opposed to a full-time rental), but the house was clean, comfortable, and spacious so we got over it quickly. Kaleigh was quick to respond to communication and we had no complaints. Would stay again if ever in the area again.

Great location. Loved walking the city trails by the stream and seeing the deer every time we went for a walk. Enjoyed walking to the Saturday farmers market. Sue was quick to respond to any questions.

Custer Camp is 5 star all way around and is the best place we have ever stayed. Great amenities that include a well equipped kitchen, pool table, hot tub, gas fired stove in living room, and a stocked pond. The views were amazing right from the property which is situated on 40 acres where we were able to see bald eagles, deer, and elk. The host were very accommodating to our needs and even provided a special treat during our stay. The property is centrally located to all of the attractions in the area making it very easy to get to trails, lakes, landmarks, shopping and dining. You will feel right at home with wi-fi, jetted tub and plenty of movies with a large couch for the whole family to enjoy and plan out your day. We plan to stay here again in the future.

I visited Angies place for a weekend birthday trip and immediately felt right at home. She was very friendly and even surprised me and my party with gormet cupcakes! The linens and furniture were very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with basic ingredients and even a few snacks. A great location for visiting the great outdoors of the Black Hills!

Clear communication on the stay, check in and out process! Everything in the home was clean and organized and in a great spot!

We had a great time. The house was exactly as described. Very clean and beautiful. If anything it felt much bigger than shown in the photos. April was on lightning top of any questions we had and always very helpful. We would definitely come again. Thanks April!

Cozy cabin in a great location! We were traveling to visit the Black Hills and nearby national parks and monuments. We found this location to be very convenient and we loved the town of Deadwood! The cabin was clean and well stocked with essentials. I will call out that there is no door to the bathroom. The toilet and shower are located around a hall and although not within sight from the main room, there is not physical barrier offering privacy. While this worked out for us, I would have preferred privacy of a door or at minimum a curtain. This was still a 5 Star experience for us, but felt it was worth noting.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Hills!! The home is just beautiful! From the tasteful furnishings to the cozy fireplace, we couldn’t have found a more wonderful place to stay. Everything was extremely clean and convenient. Be and Tom were so incredibly responsive and organized. Above and beyond for sure! The hot tub was a welcome spot to relax after a long day of hiking and exploring. We had all we needed for a fantastic trip. Next time we come back to SD we will absolutely not hesitate to stay at Moonlight Pines! Thank you once again for sharing your lovely home!

In mid-April we had good weather. It was a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the company of good friends. We had deer walk by when we were sitting around the fire ring and saw a herd of elk as we were leaving.

We had a great stay! Things were as advertised and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen, which we used often, was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfy and roomy. The children enjoyed the basement room, with its games and toys. We used the hot tub once. It was also clean with towels by the door. My only complaint would be the hot water & water pressure situation. Only one person could shower at a time and only for a few minutes until the hot water was getting cold. It was a minor inconvenience to not be able to shower while the washer or dishwasher or another person was showering.

I enjoyed my stay a lot. Very nice cabin and a very nice surrounding.

The house was clean as was the hot tub, which we enjoyed. It was private and peaceful. Lots of games. Follow the directions the host sends you instead of Google maps. We recommend taking a vehicle with 4 wheel drive. It was what we were looking for, hidden away and quiet.

Our recent stay at this cabin in Lead, South Dakota, was a truly memorable experience. The setting was peaceful and serene, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We were fortunate to enjoy a full range of weather during our visit—from sunny 70-degree afternoons to snowy nights in the 20s—which allowed us to take full advantage of everything the cabin had to offer. Highlights included soaking in the hot tub as snow gently fell around us, grilling on the deck, making s’mores, enjoying cozy evenings by the fireplace, and even watching a scary movie. We also took advantage of the nearby public transportation for a fun evening out in Deadwood, though we spent most of our time tucked away at the cabin, unwinding and recharging. The accommodations were warm, inviting, and thoughtfully prepared—exactly what we needed to disconnect from work and reconnect with each other. We would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.
