Amazing!! Great location in a beautiful place. Stunning stay. It was so amazing to hear the sounds of the jungle while being in the villa. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Few ants located inside. Would 1000% recommend staying here!

Muy organizado, limpio, con las comodidades necesarias para estadías cortas, es igual como en las fotos, anfitriones muy amables, el único pero son los insectos por las noches, pero con la luz prendida no se acercan tanto.. utilizar mucho repelente y espirales para espantar a los mosquitos, solo eso.. experiencia agradable.

We had an unforgettable stay at CocoVivo. It’s wild and beautiful - not polished, just pure nature. Our hut over the water was simple, clean, and eco-friendly, with a ‘ pipi only’ loo and solar power - compost loo elsewhere, for obvious reasons! I love that it started as part of a reforestation project, the connection to the land really comes through. They helped coordinate a 30-min boat taxi from Bocas Town, which made things easy. Wi-Fi was surprisingly good! Bring strong repellent - the sandflies are persistent. We walked the ‘sloth loop’ often - saw sloths (including babies!) and poison dart frogs. The extended walk, you should be prepared for more rugged terrain. Snorkelling was beautiful, and night snorkelling with bioluminescence felt like swimming through stars. The food was incredible - we requested vegetarian - it was fresh, full of flavour, and some of the best we’ve had! We loved the nature, and the way of life. What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! This house is tucked in the jungle with loads of wildlife all around. There are other houses on the property, but they have preserved the gardens and jungle in such a fabulous way that you can’t even see any of the other houses. Felt super private. The plunge pool was absolutely delightful after we returned to the house. There are so many things close by, we especially love La Leyenda pizza restaurant. Which is just a short ride down the street in Playa Chiquita. Tine got back to me very quickly after each text I sent her. We will definitely stay here again!

Our adult family of four stayed in both the mango house and the jungle house. Both of these places are fabulous- beautiful jungle surroundings, areas to hang out and observe the beauty, all kinds of fruit to try, an on-site restaurant (try the jackfruit stew!), comfortable beds. The fact that this area has been mindfully reforested was what attracted us to this stay but the experience overall was amazing. We highly recommend!

Had an absolutely lovely experience! The accommodations were exactly as featured and the area was stunning and peaceful. Travis was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this site to anyone.

We could not have picked a better spot to stay! Sebastian and his family are so incredibly accommodating. They helped make our trip so smooth and enjoyable. This was my first time in Mexico so arranging transportation was something I was unsure about and Sebastian helped arrange our long rides to and from the airport, as well as into town on many days. Such a responsive host! I definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area. The property is beautiful and well kept. If you have the opportunity to have any meals on the property made by the family, I highly recommend! These were some of the most delicious and well curated meals we’ve had on vacation. INCREDIBLE food! You can tell the love they have for food and the care that goes into each meal. Thank you to Sebastian and his family for being extra accommodating! We can’t wait to come back :)

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay than at Sergio’s cottage with me and my family. The kids loved it and the deck provided the best squirt gun space. Private and quiet and we will definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mayalan Atitlan. The property was absolutely beautiful, with a fantastic view of the lake from the dock. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a well-appointed kitchenette. The bed was really comfortable as well. Those looking to book the property should be aware that it is a little isolated. The property is 10 to 15-minute walk from the San Pablo public dock, and a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from both San Juan and San Marcos. This means that tuk tuk drivers often ask for extra - just be prepared to negotiate!

L’emplacement est bien situé pour aller visiter la forêt nuageuse, les tours nocturnes et autres activités de Monteverde. Nous avons trouvé facilement l’emplacement en mettant sur Waze Hotel Cala lodge et ensuite en suivant les instructions fournies ( avec photos). À partir de l’hébergement, nous pouvions voir une famille de Coati qui se promène dans les arbres aux alentours et sur le toit. Nous avons vu un Motmot sur une branche près du balcon arrière. Les lits sont très confortable, la literie également, il y a de l’eau chaude et nous n’avons rien manqué en équipement.

As described. Easy to find. Lots of trees and privacy. Lots of shade. Clean. Massage chair was nice touch.

We had an excellent stay with Jose & Sabri! The property is amazing, Its nice to see the results of their hard-work, it seemed as if the hosts have thought of everything. I would highly recommend staying a few nights here to escape the hustle of everyday life. The property is very peaceful, relaxing and there is a gorgeous, quiet beach a short walk away! For a relaxing evening with a great view I would suggest Sabri’s sunset picnic. It was an excellent way for us to end off our trip! Thanks again.

Mini casa , linda, confortável e, realmente, privativa, aconchegante e agradável. Um detalhe para quem gosta de dormir no escuro, por ser toda de vidro, mesmo com as cortinas ao redor da cama, entra luminosidade ao amanhecer. Em nada me incomodou, dormi muito bem, mas fica a dica de um tapa olhos a quem se incomoda. Além das visitas de muitos pássaros e borboletas, o som da cachoeira com a queda constante, deu um toque especial de harmonia ao ambiente. Lareira, natureza, banheira, cachoeira… tudo perfeito.

Pedro's house was absolutely perfect and really made our trip to Monteverde special. The house wasn't too difficult to find with his instructions and our 4x4. Everything looked exactly like the photos. Everything was in perfect working order - hot water, great water pressure, super clean, nice linens, comfortable bed, beautiful deck and view... we felt super comfortable here, and it was a stress-free stay! The location was amazing, because you really feel secluded in the cloud forest, but you are also just a 5 minute drive into town with all the restaurants & shops. Felt extremely safe. We actually changed our trip dates in order to stay here, and I'm so glad we did. Pedro also had awesome communication, and our experience could not have been better! We miss sitting on the back porch at night with a blanket, listening to the sounds of the forest. Would highly recommend this one!

Really fun place to stay. Was bigger than we expected and kids loved the lookout bedroom. Walter was super helpful with taxi numbers and advise on good places to visit. There is a nice small beach that was good to chill on just a 5-10 min walk and taxis to further afield were easy to arange via whatsa msg.

we were here for a relaxing birthday weekend getaway and this was the perfect spot! we loved the privacy and enjoying the soaking tub on the deck. it was also relatively close to everything and really convenient to get into town. overall, would definitely come back :)

We loved our stay! The private hot tub with the view of the water and the forrest made for very relaxing evenings. We highly recommed.

We really wish there was an option for more than 5 stars! From the moment we arrived until the last minutes we were staying here, we felt very welcomed! The location was amazing, the tree house (green frog) was perfect. As others have commented…the only thing that could have been better. . .is if we had actually extended our stay here. Ricky and Lori were extremely friendly and helpful. The fresh cut Pipas to drink were splendid. 10/10!!! We would recommend and can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Jamil’s place- theTreehouse Cabin Retreat- is a hidden gem nestled on beautiful acreage with a wealth of amenities, and is without a doubt THE best treehouse and cabin experience we have ever had on Airbnb! The treehouse and hidden nook are truly magical, the cabin is super charming with its intricate carpentry and woodwork, and the surrounding campgrounds are equipped with every convenience imaginable for the uninterrupted tranquility of a perfect family getaway. My professionally trained working dogs loved the acreage, and my Belgian Malinois enjoyed the tracking games we were able to play with all of the space. My 6yo niece loved the variety of board and outdoor games. My family and I cherished the time spent around the campfire, and of course, made s'mores! The beds and linens were comfortable, laundry soap and dryer sheets were provided, and the nostalgia from DVD or VHS movie choices are unmatched! 5 stars, a Top 1% Airbnb property, book your stay- you won't regret it!!

such and amazing experience. cozy beautiful house. really fun to climb around. just a very unique house to stay at. beds were comfy, and the sites were stunning. bathroom was really neat. Definitely different. the host was super friendly and helpful with everything we needed. everyone needs to spend some time at the treehouse. sharing your trip with nature is the best. seeing tarantulas just crawling around, lizards all over. was so neat

We had an excellent time in the tree house. It was a great experience, and sound escape from the hassle city life. it was peaceful and had a good time talking with my partner. Would surely recommend for my friends !! Allison was a great host, and was prompt on replying to all texts and calls.

“Mossy Cove Treehouse is exactly what I was hoping it’d be! Nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by peaceful scenery, it was a perfect surprise getaway for (insert whatever you want). All of the rustic details inside the treehouse really made us feel contently lost in the woods. We didn’t want to leave! The host was very accommodating, responsive and even made sure to build us a fire before leaving us. We’ll definitely be back to explore the area soon.”

We were looking for a tree house vacation and this did not disappoint. The picturesque lagoon viewed from the windows and balcony provided serenity and entertainment (beautiful birds, sunning turtles, spectacular sunsets, and of course the alligators)! Our host was quickly responsive to the few questions we had and went above and beyond with answers and accommodations. Biking trails, a 5 minute walk to the beach, a short drive to fantastic food venues, and even a few deer added to the relaxing time away we had hoped for. Highly recommend.
