Great spot if you have a group of ~8. We didn’t want for anything (plenty of dishes, filtered water, well stocked kitchen, ect) and everyone was able to be included in each space. Large dining table was great for sharing meals and playing games. After a long day of hiking the hot tub was a welcome addition and was very clean/well maintained.

A very relaxing space, enjoyed the dining area and we were hoping to use the hot tub to let out muscles recover from a long day of riding but we were so tired of a long day of riding we picked up dinner and had a good time relaxing inside just fine. The neighbors were delightful and the local restaurants and Hispanic grocery were were great to have available by bike. Got a cake delivered via Instacart which was a relief.

Perfect location near Starved Rock. Super clean with everything we needed. Would definitely go back.

We had a great stay. The house was very clean and had a great feel to it like you were right at home. Very private and peaceful. We will return for another stay here if in the area again. It was so close to all the places we wanted to visit. Thank you so much.

Bachelorette weekend for my daughter in law to be. Loved the pool and hot tub. Beds were very comfortable. Michelle was available for all questions. Great Host!

We had a very nice girls getaway. The villa was spacious and close to lots of fun things to do.

Great spot to go with friends and family. They have a water park, arcade, mini golf, and an ice cream place. We had a fun time at this resort and would definitely do it again!

I take my kids riding at Fox Valley Off Road every Labor Day, and this resort is the perfect place to stay. It provides a lot of activities for the kids when we’re not riding. The kids love it. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Michael’s place is great! We stayed here for a fishing tournament and it was very nice. Clean and comfy, highly recommend. All the guys loved the place, we will be back.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay for our girls trip. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck, firepit and hot tub. We were only a 10-minute drive to the store if we needed anything. We are looking forward to our next stay we have booked this summer so we can enjoy the inground pool! Thank you!

Had a fantastic stay- our focus was hiking at Starved Rock and it was perfect for that. We’re thinking of a summer trip to kayak now as well. The townhouse is very cozy and the dining table was great for playing games with the family. Beds are comfortable and rooms are large. Our kid was excited to use the big jacuzzi tub for bath time. Plenty of counter space to cook together. Recommend bringing foil or plastic wrap as there is none available. Will need to have all ingredients on hand- there are no supplies left from previous guests with things like oil/Pam. Big grocery options are just a short drive away though. For those with electric cars, the Flying J has good level 2 chargers-not as fast as described in listings though. Saw Tesla chargers at the HyVee as well.

The cabin was beautiful, very spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. Tricia is a great host, very responsive and attentive. We will be back very soon.

Fun stay! My boys loved the games. The location was perfect for getting to the state parks. It was quiet during the week we were there, but I hear the little town nearby has lots of festivals and such. We did not go to the Lodge for the waterpark or mini golf, but will inquire next time. We were able to run around the villas and get some exercise without traffic. Pretty well stocked with everyday items in the kitchen. Bring your toiletries with you. We would like to stay again and recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is very close to the trails. Jacuzzi in the cabin definitely helped with sore legs after long hiking. The cabin was great! Jacuzzi, fireplaces, comfortable beds made our stay super relaxing. Highly recommend. Tip: if you plan to go to the waterpark, which is walking distance from the cabin, buy your passes ahead of time. They had full capacity during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay so much!!! Beautiful home, so much space & the best location!!! The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, the bed was the most comfortable ever & the Jacuzzi in the master bedroom was lovely and very relaxing! The entire home was very spacious and spotless. We honestly didn't want to leave when it was time to go.
