Maison familiale avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un très bon séjour. La chambre pour deux enfants est vraiment un gros point fort si vous venez avec des enfants ; plein de jouets et de quoi les occuper. L'emplacement est très paisible dans un petit quartier pavillonnaire en périphérie de la ville. Quelques balades à faire dans le coin à pieds, mais Il est fortement conseillé d'avoir une voiture pour se déplacer plus facilement en ville ou plus loin dans les alentours. Le sauna dans la maison est aussi très sympa après une journée épuisante. Pour résumer, on a passé un très bon séjour dans une maison très agréable pour petits et grands.

We thoroughly enjoyed coming ‘home’ after a day of activities to the house. The sauna warms you up immediately. Evenings are too short when watching your favourite show on the home cinema. The kitchen is super equipped. Everything is available. Great place for relaxing.

Thanks for having us in your wonderful lakeview-cabin. The view is spectacular and the whole villa was perfectly designed to have enough room for everyone. We had a brilliant stay in Lapland and did all the amazing things we planned. Even the northern lights showed for some times in the evenings. All in all: highly recommended for a private stay!

We had the most magical time at the Kieppi cottage. It was the perfect mix of being able to completely ‘unplug’ and enjoy the intensely beautiful nature in Lapland while still having all modern amenities in this ultra-cozy space (and a nice grocery store nearby). Hannu and Anne-Marie are wonderful hosts and gladly helped us with anything we needed during our stay. The excursions with 70 North were 10/10!! Absolutely epic days, thanks again for the most amazing trip!

This was a great place to stay for groups! Good amount of living space to hang out and spend time. The Sauna was lovely to use each night, especially as we came in winter when it was still snowing and cold! It’s a bit of a walk into town, so as long as you’re ok with that or have a car or use taxis. But the walk is easy and you get to see some of the scenery. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stay and Daria was lovely!

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

Another wonderful stay at Meeri and Paula’s beautiful villa. The location is magical and the villa itself is perfect. We’ve stayed in some fantastic places through Airbnb over the years but this is really something exceptional. Paula and Meeri are great hosts and we were made to feel very much at home. We were very sad to leave and hope to return again soon!

Abbiamo passato una splendida settimana, la casa era accogliente e con tutti i comfort che si possono desiderare, posizione ottima a 10 minuti di macchina dall’ aeroporto, 15 dal villaggio di babbo natale e dal centro di Rovaniemi . Zona molto tranquilla con un bel panorama sul lago ghiacciato. Se devo fare una critica ma è solo un mio gusto personale toglierei un po’ di fotografia appese sui muri. Per il resto ringrazio l host per l’accoglienza. La sauna è la veranda sono state la ciliegina sulla torta.

Ein magischer Aufenthalt in Lappland! Wir danken euch von ganzem Herzen für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Schon beim Betreten des Hauses haben wir gespürt, wie viel Liebe und Sorgfalt ihr in jedes Detail gesteckt habt, ohne diese wäre es nur halb so schön gewesen. Das Haus ist nicht nur geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch perfekt ausgestattet, sodass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Die warme, gemütliche Atmosphäre hat uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlen lassen, ein wahres Wintermärchen. Und ein Highlight waren die Polarlichter. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft: verschneite Landschaften, absolute Ruhe und dennoch perfekt gelegen für Ausflüge in die Natur oder nach Rovaniemi. Wir konnten uns keinen besseren Ort vorstellen, um Lappland zu erleben. Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft und all die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht haben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! 💝✨

The villa was beautiful, modern and clean. amazing picture windows to look out over the forest and incredibly cosy. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with everything we needed to cook and entertain for the 12 of us and plenty of spare room for the kids to have their own space downstairs. The slopes are definitely walkable, but ski in ski out is cross country only, the walk was however, easy and picturesque so who cares! Id highly reccomend this place if you are looking for classic Finland, cosy retreats, red wine and log fires. The resort was also great but id reccomend a car to go slightly further afield also. All in all another amazing stay in Finland for half term.

we stayed at Tea's house just before Christmas and it was amazing. the atmosphere was so cosy, we didn't want to leave! Tea was super attentive and she was so kind to leave a hot chocolate station for the kids, which they loved! the house was warm and welcoming with everything you need.

Miika was a great host and definitely one of the most helpful people in Finland that we encountered. Place is beautiful but remote, which is perfect but there is no restaurants nearby after 6pm. Sauna and Jacuzzi were awesome and the villa is beautiful

Nos alojamos 8 personas y fue perfecto. La casa es muy bonita, cómoda y tenía todo lo necesario para disfrutar al máximo. El entorno es espectacular: muy tranquilo, junto al lago, ideal para desconectar. Y lo mejor… ¡pudimos ver auroras por la noche! Sin duda, una experiencia inolvidable. ¡Repetiríamos sin pensarlo!

We had a wonderful stay in Suvi's fantastic chalet Ideally located on the edge of the forest in a quiet, peaceful and enchanting environment, the chalet is spacious and very well decorated. We were able to take advantage of the peaceful setting to work and do lots of activities. Suvi is very responsive and very kindly granted us a late check-out to accommodate us. We'll be back with pleasure!

We stayed here for 5 nights with another family and the house was perfect for our two families! Incredible location and close to Sirkka. Really awesome areas to sled for the kids at the house. The hot tub and the sauna were a hit as well. The power was out on one of the outlets and the owner was so quick to respond and it resolved right away. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning new log villa on the shores of Lake Rukajärvi, and it was an experience beyond compare. Als Familie mit 6 Personen und einem Kleinkind haben wir den Aufenthalt im großzügigen Ferienhaus genossen. Die küchenausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der Holzkamin und die geschmackvolle Möblierung trug zur behaglichen Atmosphäre bei. Die tolle Aussicht auf den See und die Beobachtung der Polarlichter vom Balkon und auch durch die großen Fenster, haben uns gefallen. Ilkka war sehr freundlich und zuverlässig, wir empfehlen ihn gerne weiter.

Due notti ad aprile a caccia dell’aurora boreale! L’appartamento è molto bello, pulito e con tutto il necessario. Ci sono due camere da letto (una è accessibile tramite scala a pioli), la sauna in bagno e una jacuzzi esterna. Aapo è molto gentile e disponibile

Disfrutar una navidad y año nuevo en un ambiente de nieve siempre fué un deseo. Más aún cuando vivimos encerrados por el Covid mucho tiempo. Por eso nos lanzamos a la aventura, viajar desde Chile a Finlandia, y tuvimos la suerte de encontrar esta pequeña casa, super acogedora, en la cual durante 30 días disfrutamos el invierno al norte de Finlandia. Anduvimos en trineo guiado por renos, caminamos kilometros (con cuidado) sobre el hielo y nieve sobre el mar, disfrutamos de noches de luna que iluminaban todo el paisaje de noche, los amaneceres de diferentes colores, nos insertamos en la vida cotidiana y disfrutamos de las comidas locales. También tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar las auroras boreales (no podíamos regresar si no las veíamos). Los espacios de dormir no son grandes pero suficientes. La cocina me encantó, tiene todo lo que se necesita así como el estar. No puedo dejar de lado el Hot-Tub que lo disfrutamos mucho, especialmente mientras estabamos a -21°C. Superó con creces las expectativas nuestras y Satu fué más que una excelente anfitriona. Realmente es un lugar maravilloso para disfrutar en familia.
