A cosy, rustic hut in a field with 2 comfy kingsize beds (sheets & duvet not provided), en suite shower & loo, set in a secluded spot on a small, quiet 36 acre farm with fishing lake & boat in a remote, beautiful, little visited, yet very accessible area of the Pennines with expansive views of the stunning Thursden Valley. An extensive network of footpaths lead to Extwistle Moor, the cairn circle & tumuli above Ell Clough, the Bronte Way, Pennine Way & Bridleway. Sorry no dogs. No loud music.

Tucked away, yet close to the centre of Colne, Ivy Nest is a unique cosy cottage which has retained many original quirky features. This special place is close to everything, including nearby shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance on the doorstep. It's also close to great walking, with Pendle Hill and Wycollar close by, also Skipton and Bronte Country a short journey away. Welcome to The Poplars Holiday Cottage, we are located in East Lancashire in a lovely historic hamlet called Hurstwood Village. A rural but not to rural country cottage where you can unwind, rest and relax. If you love walking, cycling again this is the place with many walks and trails on the door step. We can accommodate 3 people having a double room and a single room. There is a lockable bike shed for our cycling guests. Local pubs/restaurants and a village shop is within walking distance.

We offer free off-road parking for one car with access to EV charging. You have a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and your own living area/fitted kitchen with french doors leading onto your patio. You're a few paces from lovely Pennine walks, or a short stroll down to the many bars and restaurants.

In the Weaving Shed of an attractive former textile mill, on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. The small rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bikes, many country walks, and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). Popular tourist towns of Skipton and Haworth are nearby. * Shed End and my other place, The Workshop, are in the same building.
