Charles place is beautiful and the river view is amazing. Charles was very kind and very responsive. Beds were comfy and kitchen stocked. Plenty of room to be fellowship and have privacy when needed. Decor is nice and makes you feel welcomed & right at home. Charles place is great for a relaxing waterfront stay in VA, can’t wait to return for our next river stay.

We took a small vacation with my sister’s family and we loved the location. Our kids enjoyed the small play area in the basement with the arcade machine and foosball table. We cooked every night and they had all useful appliances. We used the Ninja air fryer and Keurig machine every day. Since we went in January after a snowstorm the road was a little hazardous to use and the lake was completely frozen, so we spent most times indoors. We did enjoy going to the dock and looking at the frozen lake. This will be a great place to visit during the summer, they had Kayaks to use and a nice dock to jump from and fish. We would definitely come back.

I stayed at Meg's beautiful home with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend in Deltaville, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay during such a special time. Meg was so kind and responsive, providing helpful local recommendations and detailed instructions for the house. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and her hospitality made my wedding weekend even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Meg!

Absolutely beautiful overlook to the water from the entire rear of the house. Huge deck with plenty of seating and things to do. The inside is very spacious and had plenty of room for our group. We would visit again in the future without hesitation!

This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

Adorable place with peace and privacy. The short walk to the water is great, beautiful place to sit and be. My boyfriend took a kayak out to fish while I watercolor painted on the shore. Never saw another person, not even the neighbors - which you can only see when you go to the water. Saw plenty of wildlife; rays or skates, herrings, geese, crabs. Didn't catch any fish, but worth it either way. Reedsville is a wonderful, peaceful, slow place. GREAT RESTAURANTS! Highly recommend Horn Harbor. Hidden restaurant on the water with amazing food. Beds were firm, but soft - we really liked it. Adam's communication is TOP NOTCH! One of our best AirBNB experiences. I wish we could've stayed a week. Highly recommend if you're looking to get away from life and enjoy the water and slower living. Absolutely loved it.

What a house, what a view...and lastly what a host!! This airbnb experience was the best ever experience ever. There are no words to explain how welcomed we felt. The best hospitality experience. Debbie made it really special by also coming over to take care of a few things for us. I cant thank her enough...and of course the super recommendations on where to eat. It was spot on. It was a true home... the pantry was well stocked, the home felt warm and welcomed..and there was just a nice cosy, homely vibe to it and it felt like we were staying at a cousin's place. I cant thank Jennie and Debbie enough. Also there was just too good communication, instructions, tips etc. This was a true detox place right on the river, laying on the hammock, the fireplace.. the kitchen and bedrooms were just perfect. I could not ask for more. I highly highly recommend this place

Beautiful and comfortable house and property. Was nice to have a little section of beach and a park setting with a playground just across the driveway. We didn't spend too much time outside being it was quite cold and windy during our stay, but the electric fireplace and the expansive view of the river from the living sofa was very relaxing. The inside of the house is clean and well furnished. The only downside (which wasn't really a big issue) is the shower curtain in the master bathroom keeps falling down. It was down when we got there, so we tried just putting it back up, but it wouldn't stay. We just all used the other shower, so no real issue. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. Very quiet and friendly little community.

Joyce has done a phenomenal job with this lake house. Everything has been thought through. The house actually looks even better than the pictures. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. And it is super clean. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you would need ant home or away. Ample seasoned fire wood and starter sticks makes using their MASSIVE fire pit a breeze. The best part is she gives you access to both of their docks and you will not have to take your boat or kayak out of the water once. We kayak fished Johnson’s and Lacey’s with ease from her house. 100% coming back to stay again.

We loved our stay at Janet’s place! She was incredibly easy to communicate with, and the house was absolutely perfect—comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We especially enjoyed being nestled into Ewell, with convenient access to the water, shops, food, and golf cart rentals. It made for a truly relaxing and memorable getaway.

This was our 2nd stay on the island , but first time at Mary Kim's. Great hospitality including home cooked egg rolls that made the long journey even more worth it. The only downfall would be the dock and kayak spot is a couple doors down, but Mary Kim was very communicative. lastly, I highly recommend the golf cart service on the island, gives you more of an ability to explore the island.

My wife and I had an amazing time staying here! While we wanted to explore Williamsburg and Richmond, we spent half of the days there just enjoying the lake. Those were my favorite days. In all, a really great place to read, play board games, snack on food, and sit by the water.

We booked this beautiful beachfront home for my husband's birthday, and it was perfect. Check-in was seamless, and the breathtaking water view greeted us upon entry. The house was spotless and peaceful, with only the soothing sound of waves. We enjoyed most meals in the sunroom overlooking the water and took advantage of the outdoor seating as the weather warmed. Fawn, a great coffee and breakfast/lunch spot, was just five minutes away. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook fresh seafood from Little River Seafood. Mornings were magical with stunning sunrises, and the nearby beach access was perfect for walks, yoga, and birdwatching. A highlight was Hughlett Point, a hidden nature preserve 30-40 minutes away, leading to a secluded beach with only 11 parking spots. Thank you for sharing your home—it made for a peaceful and unforgettable celebration!

What a wonderfully charming and peaceful cottage, and it was absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway. Having Nuttall’s Store just a short drive away was so convenient for necessities, and their steaks and sandwiches are amazing! Thanks for everything ☺️

Always enjoy our stay at Kinsale Cottage. The home is clean and well decorated, the beds are beyond comfortable and you can't beat the view. looking forward to many more visits.
