There are no neighbours save for a herd of cows and it is a very peaceful, private place. Towards the rear is a hot tub, a small seating area and arbour with benches and a table. Holly Toft is a secluded, detached stone cottage, perched on the edge of a drumlin hill, overlooking the beautiful rolling countryside of the Ribble Valley. With uninterrupted panoramic views of the Forest of Bowland, the majestic hills of Whernside, Pen-y-ghent and Ingleborough, it truly is a special place. Whilst mature lime trees stand guard in front of the property, Weets Hill looms spectacularly nearby. Adults 18+ can relax by the woodburning stove whilst drinking in the views.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

Close to Hebden Bridge and Heptonstall, there are beautiful walks and cycle rides from the doorstep, which is 800m from the Pennine Bridleway. There is a wood burning stove (we provide a starter pack of logs) and well-behaved dogs are welcome. A king-sized bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge make this the perfect venue for couples, friends or parents and child!

Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
