We had a lovely stay with our dogs at the house. Elida was a very helpful host: she offered great communication from booking the reservation to saying goodbye. Super hosts are great! We were in SC for a memorial service in Anderson for my high school friend. Because we don’t board our dogs we had to bring them with us. That is not always easy. Both my partner and I thought the house was great for that. The house isn’t exactly a lake house, but it is very close to a lovely lake w good access. We had a beautiful sunny afternoon to take our dogs to the Sadler Creek State Park, and that was wonderful also. Downtown Anderson isn’t exactly a rocking Metropolis, but it is charming and (when the restaurants are open.) there’s quite a few to choose from. We will say after a long drive we could not have had a better beer & pizza than magnetic brewery. Not sure we’ll ever have cause to be back, but if we do, I’d like to book again. The water pressure & outlets by the bed were top on list!

Frederico was always ready to answer our questions and responded well to some minor issues we had (e.g., the Wi-Fi wasn't working when we arrived due to the wrong password provided, and check-out instructions didn't automatically come at the end of our stay). Excellent place and quiet neighborhood; the "real deal" is the huge backyard where you can relax and watch your children play. The house is comfortable and was completely renovated. Bathrooms are OK, and the living/dining rooms are good for a family of 4-6 people. As a suggestion for future improvements, maybe a modern coffee maker and better bath towels would be good. A blackout curtain for the master bedroom (as they have in the others) would also be great. But nothing to worry about or discredit the house and the host. I would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I enjoyed our time in the evenings winding down; felt like being at home. We had everything we needed and more. We will be sure to recommend your home to our oldest daughter and her family of 6! This would be a great place for them if/when they make it out this way to visit her sister and their new baby.

Sunsets and Siestas was fantastic! Alan and Sylvia were responsive and friendly leading up to and during our stay. The home was very well equipped with furnishings, bedding, etc. The kitchen was a huge success. We were amazed at how many amenities were in the kitchen. We cooked everyday and the kitchen was well appointed with dual ovens and many other great features and appliances. The new Weber grill outside was also a great added feature! Our entire family of 16 had plenty of space to enjoy the house, pool, boat dock, and outdoor fireplace/hot tub area! I highly recommend Sunsets and Siestas! Lake Keowee and the entire area is full of outdoor adventures and fun for all ages.

My wife and I just spent our wedding anniversary here this past weekend it was such a beautiful place we had the best of both worlds with the hot tub and the fishing was great off the dock. Caught a ton of catfish and smallmouths. The gift she left us for anniversary too was very thoughtful. Mimi is an amazing host and she responded to all my questions in a very positive and timely manner We are coming back again and again and again Thank you.

This property was exactly as described — beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The hosts were responsive and very helpful. I asked about EV charging and they quickly confirmed there was a charging station on-site, which was a huge plus. The location is convenient, close to downtown with shops nearby. Having a brewery on the premises was also a great bonus for a relaxed evening without needing to travel far. I would definitely recommend this property!

We’ve stayed here a few times for our staff retreat. We love how spacious the home is in the living room, kitchen and dining area. The screened in porch is a great area to hangout throughout the day because of the shade in backyard.
