This magical treehouse was built by Pete Nelson 25 years ago and recently renovated with help from his crew. It sits in living trees on our 5 acre property next to its own little pond and fountain. Africa in Auburn - Treehouse

Our tree-house, built by Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters, aired as the African Safari Hut. The professionally designed interior is filled with African artifacts. It was designed to be a writer's cottage for Skeeter who is an author and an African historian. Skeeter and Jacque love having guests stay at the treehouse, especially writers and artists looking for a retreat to work on their craft. With few exceptions, the treehouse is available for stays of 2 to 5 days.

This is a great place with lots of room for fun & relaxation. This home is on 2 acres with a wooded back yard & a short trail to a creek. 1 mile from public Lake Sawyer boat launch. Just a few miles from historic Black Diamond, central access to Mount Rainier, Seattle & other nearby attractions. 3 golf courses 7-15 minutes away.
