We loved this Airbnb! Although we were stuck in Lake Placid in the middle of a snowstorm, Debra’s place had everything we needed for getting snowed in, including games and toys for our toddler. She also provided a high chair and mini crib, which were less things we had to pack. And our toddler loved the toys she had more than the ones we brought! The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to cook, and the location of the Airbnb was right down the road from the Main Street in Lake Placid with great restaurants and shops. The Airbnb was very cozy, and beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve sleep in! Lastly, Debra was very kind, helpful, and responsive offering local recommendations. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay again the next time we visit Lake Placid!

We had a blast at the cabin for New Year’s celebrations. The house was very clean and organized. The driveway was very steep as described- luckily we had an SUV! The gas fireplace was beautiful and we could see the the fireworks show from the fire pit on our lakefront. We are already discussing our next trip back!

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and well stocked with anything you need. Make sure to follow directions for which door to enter through to make sure you’re entering the right space!

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

What an exceptional first visit to the Adirondacks! Matt and Kellee’s place was very clean and welcoming, the location was excellent and so well accommodating for dogs. Would 10/10 recommend and would love to stay here again in the future!

We loved staying here and will be back again! The primary bed and bath are especially lovely and felt very cozy on the cold mid winter nights during our stay.

This was my first experience booking an Airbnb, Kate helped make it smooth and easy. She was incredibly responsive and kind. Due to the weather my husband and I didn't do much hiking like we originally planned. We stayed in and listened to our audio book and relaxed. We utilized the wood buring stove quite a bit, we loved it! All the wood is convieniently precut. The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. The backyard is fully fenced in so our dog enjoyed frolicking around untethered. Main street is minutes away and has so many delicious restaurant and cute shops to stop in. The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need, however, we mainly ate out. We really liked Lisa G's which is only a 3 minute walk away! Kate keeps lots of helpful information and recommendations posted on the corkboard in the house. I definitely recommend staying here. We will be back because I still want to experience Whiteface Mountain without the rain and clouds.

Perfect place to stay while hiking in Placid. Also, the hot tub is the perfect way to end a long day of hiking. We have stayed at phoebes place twice now and it was clean, we had everything we needed and phoebe is very kind!

My 13 friends and I recently took a fall break trip to Adirondacks, and it was the most amazing, relaxing time thanks to Antoine’s beautiful airbnb. As soon as we walked in, we were brought into another world—with the most eclectic artwork and interior design—and yet still felt at home. Antoine was the most welcoming and responsive host we could have possibly gotten; he even provided us with tips on possible local adventures! I absolutely loved making memories with my best friends in all of the rooms (and the place is massive!) Overall, this was the most fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking to enjoy their trip to the Adirondacks!

Amazing suite on second floor of motel. HUGE beautiful kitchen/family room with amazing 360 windows and views! Kitchen is beautiful. Tile floors heated!! Lots of storage for ski equipment. Bathrooms large and clean. Only one bedroom with kind size bed but huge! 2 roll away beds in closet and 3 closets are so large that we had our kids on the roll aways in those. All in all fantastic rental and would absolutely stay again!!

Genuinely even better than anticipated. Place is bigger than it looks, very spacious, clean, all amenities, great location, quick response from hosts. Loved every moment.

I would book here and you won’t be disappointed especially if you have kids! Also shampoo and conditioner and laundry detergent and washing machine soap were provided! We had a blast! The hot tub is huge and easy to use!

This place is wonderful and within walking distance to the lake and the main town. It is also very close to the golf course which must be nice in the warmer months. We were there in the winter; the home was cozy and had everything our family of four needed. We also used the hotel pool and gym. I highly recommend it!

Such a beautiful private cabin. Walked around the two small ponds each morning. Perfect location to visit my niece at Paul Smiths. Comfy bed, tons of pillows, plenty warm (we had rain and snow while I was there). I wasn't able to enjoy the small deck because of the weather, but looking out the picture window all day while I remote worked was wonderful. Although Jillian said the wi-fi may not be the 'best', I had no issues with being on multiple TEAMS and Zoom meetings all day and using two laptops. She must have improved this feature. I also got to watch two movies on Netflix, thank you. Jillian, I will be recommending your little cabin to every one of my family members as they go visiting up in your area. It is leaps and bounds better than the last two places I stayed. Jackson is a little sweetheart, he came by each morning to say hello. Sully enjoyed it also. Thank you. Carol.

This was our 4th time staying with Roy and Karen. This property never disappoints! Peaceful with stunning views in a great location. We look forward to returning for a 5th trip.

The house was very comfortable and well furnished. The Murphy bed in the office/bedroom was not quite as expected. Luckily there was plenty of room in the basement for my kids to sleep on the couch. The Murphy bed was not functional for sleeping. Everything was well stocked and we really appreciated having soaps And items available.

We loved our stay at Cary’s place! It was so peaceful in the woods yet so close to town and all of the activities. Cary was very helpful especially with the amount of snow we got! We would definitely return!

Wonderful place to stay. Very cozy and quiet. Very clean home and smelled great. Had a full stock of wood to use, we didn't use any because of the rain. Loved to covered Hot Tub. Highly recommend you update your listing to show the covered hot tub. Great local food around we were very happy with the Twisted Raven and Adirondack Mountain Coffee.

My husband, our 6-month-old baby, our dog, and I stayed at Chris’s Airbnb for the weekend, and it was the perfect remote getaway to unplug and relax. One of the highlights was the fully enclosed yard—our dog loved being able to run freely and safely enjoy the space. The home is about 25 minutes from Lake Placid and the downtown area, which made it easy to explore when we wanted, while still offering the peaceful seclusion we were looking for. Surrounded by nature, it was the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. Chris and his co-host were incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with—they answered our questions promptly and made the whole experience seamless. The property also felt very safe, which gave us extra peace of mind during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled retreat with all the comforts of home.
