Up North Gem on Diamond Lake in Bayfield County

Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

Valhalla Townhouse is just a few miles outside the cute town of Cable Wisconsin. This property sits adjacent to an old ski hill and walking distance from the American Birkebeiner Trail head. Miles of trails are just out your door for cross country skiing, mountain biking, snowmobiling, hiking and ATV's. Enjoy a relaxing, family friendly stay on the shores of Lake Owen. Our family owned resort is situated on the southern end of the lake, just four miles from Cable. Lake Owen boasts crystal clear waters and is listed as healthiest of Wisconsin’s 15,000 lakes. The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest surrounds most of the lake, limiting shoreline development and offering the finest fishing and recreational entertainment.

Charming Cabin on Beautiful Lake Owen

Lake Owen is known for crystal-clear water and stretches 9 miles long in Southern Bayfield County. The cabin has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a Queen Bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a TV and internet is available. The cabin is about 2 feet from the lake and the view off the porch is one of my favorite anywhere on the lake. Get ready for Beautiful Sunsets.
