Beautiful place for Christmas family gathering! May Jane was very helpful and responsive to questions.

Everything was as described. Great communication, house was clean and met all of our needs.

We absolutely love getting an opportunity to spend time @littleretreat it feels like a home away from home. It is such a peaceful place, and we love all the trails through the forest and sitting by the wood stove. It’s so wonderful finding properties that are pet friendly and our dogs love it. Michael is a great host and makes you feel like you are just popping into a family members place while they are away. Can’t wait to get back.

The cottage is spacious and very well maintained. It offered comfortable beds, a great kitchen and the bonus of 2 bathrooms. We came with our 2 little dogs and found that there were walking trails very near by. It is also an easy walk to the beach which would be wonderful in the summer

We absolutely adored this home, land location and the owners. The house was filled with everything and anything you could need. Beds were comfy and the yard, gardens, small private beach and lake were amazing. Jeani and Randy were so kind and thoughtful and their communication was top notch even reaching out to give us an update on the storm that came through, northern lights and harvest moon. Randy was there to meet us and even helped us unload. They had a ton of material for the surrounding areas. We drove up to Voyageurs NP - all of them, Crane Lake and Vermilion Falls, traveled over to do activities in Ely and Tower. They do live onsite but up on top of a hill and we never saw them. We also took the kayaks on the lake. Ducks come to visit several times a day. The neighbors are very friendly, there are trees on both sides so you don't see much. Home is on a dead end road so you can walk dogs without any traffic. Internet speed is great. We would absolutely stay here again.

Janis’ home on beautiful Lake Longbow was everything and more as described. She provided everything you need to get started right away on your vacation. Her home is one if not one of the best we have ever stayed. We certainly hope to make a return trip. Again many thanks! 😀

Awesome location, I grew up in the area and being able to visit with such an awesome location was great. definitely recommend a few nights stay if you get a chance. Keith was really helpful and friendly, would definitely visit again in the future

My girlfriends and I had a most wonderful weekend getaway at Dana’s place! Everything about the cabin suited our needs. The decor is inviting, the seating areas were plenty, and the beds were very comfortable. The entire cabin was neat and very clean. The cabin has a well-stocked kitchen and has handy amenities like a washer/dryer. Having the second toilet was beneficial for us four. We would definitely rebook Dana’s cabin! We highly recommend.

Pier 6 was the perfect cottage for our family! We loved everything about it! It was clean, kitchen has everything you need, lots of linens supplied as well. We used the outdoor kitchen with BBQ and Tregar everyday! It has stunning views of the water, the sunroom down at the dock is perfect for morning coffee, or to just relax. The sunsets are amazing. We all enjoyed all the activities on the water. The paddle boards, kayaks, peddle boat, lily pad that are there were well used. The grandkids and big kids had so much fun on the zip line! We enjoyed evening fires at the fire pit and tiki bar. Adelle was very prompt with any questions we had. We would recommend this cabin to,our friends, and hope to go back again!

Cabin was clean, organized and in a beautiful location. We used the loft which was a great added space. Hosts respond quickly when we had questions. Enjoyed ice fishing on the river right next to the property, neighbor had plowed a nice walking path along the river! We really enjoyed our time, hope to come again!

What a fantastic get away location!!! Beautiful accommodations and the Tiki bar is a great gathering spot to watch the ball game in the evening. Karen was always available for questions. Thank you for a great vacation

Cozy place for up to 8 people in a quiet neighborhood. It comes with everything you would possibly need in the kitchen, washroom and backyard, including 3 kayaks and a canoe. The access to take the kayak or canoe into the lake is through a grassy path across the street and then a few steps over rocks. It took us sometime to figure out the path as It is not marked and sits between two private properties. If you have two or more people who are strong and experienced with kayaks, it would not be any concern. Otherwise I would recommend bringing the kayak to a nearby beach with a suv or truck and access the lake from there for your own safety. Everything else worked out great. Courtney was responsive and provided a very detailed instruction upon check in.

What an amazing place! We loved spending time here and enjoying nature. Our 3 year old did not want to leave “the brown house” and did not want to leave Canada! We did star gazing outside the house one night and a cozy movie night inside the second night. During the day we went hiking across the border. We are already considering visiting again.

I cannot say enough great things about this cottage and its hosts. The location is spectacular - nestled in a quiet and calm bay, our kids loved swimming off of the dock and enjoying the two paddle boards and two-person kayak provided by Jess. The cottage is, similarly, thoughtfully appointed with a full modern kitchen that lacks nothing. An induction range made cooking a breeze, along with a terrific BBQ. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Everywhere has a great view of the lake. Jess and her husband were remarkably responsive with questions about the area and gave us terrific suggestions. We have been coming to LOTW for 30 years at a family cottage, and this was our first time here - what a change to have a new, modern and immaculate place to live! The bunkie is large, clean and has a very comfortable mattress. The location is incredible - the quiet is astounding, punctuated only by the calls of loons. We will definitely be back - thank you Jess for a wonderful stay

We were very happy to find this gem for a quiet and relaxing winter getaway. Met and exceeded expectations and probably one of the cleanest places we have stayed at. Thank you Stanley! Also the extra games and little amenities, surround sound system, etc… that are included at the property really made the stay that much better.

We had a wonderful time swimming, fishing off the dock (caught a nice sized large mouth bass & panfish) and boating. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayak and screened in porch. We used the fire pit one night before the mosquitoes came out. We didn’t use the hot tub. We rented a pontoon from Brett at Island View Resort. He also sold bait, gas and a map of the lake with tips for fishing the lake. We caught crappies, bass, panfish and northern. The bunkhouse was prefect for our two boys. Our daughter enjoyed the loft room. It was nice that there were 2 fans. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked having a large electric skillet. Didn’t use the washing machine except for washing the towels before we checked out. The beds were comfortable. We also liked the large dining room table -used it to play games in the evening. We’d definitely recommend getting peanut butter twists from Pattens restaurant in Orr. It was a very relaxing vacation. We’d definitely rent it again.

Beautiful cottage that's so accessible but also feels so private! The area is stunning, and the yard and all the amenities are INCREDIBLE! Easily the comfiest beds we've ever had at an Airbnb, and everything was so well-stocked and easy to find. So many wonderful activities provided to you by Melissa - if you have kids especially, this place is for you!

My family loved this place. It was great. Hidden amongst the trees it was a perfect getaway for us.

This resort and cabin are beautiful. Everything inside was just right for what we needed. The views are amazing. Wish we could visit here frequently. We did hear loons which is one thing we hoped to do. We also saw bears outside the sanctuary down the road. We celebrated a young boy catch a large fish off the dock.
