Relax and enjoy the stunning rural and mountain views from our stylish modern home. Situated in a very peaceful and quiet subdivision, you can literally jump off the deck onto a reserve. It's only a 4 minute drive to the shops or a 2 minute walk down to the beautiful lake front. Because our property is not fenced it is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years old. Please note we only accept guests who have already had good AirBnB reviews history and the garage is not available.

Black's Hut - Lakefront Cottage

Black's Hut sits on the shores of Lake Te Anau with expansive uninterrupted views of Fiordland. Built in 2022 with quality fixtures and furnishings, entertainment system and hot tub. Excellent unlimited wifi. Black's Hut has been specifically set up to accommodate adults with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Extremely private with extensive plantings. Bike track and reserve between the cottage and lake. Just a 15 minute walk along the lakefront to shops and cafes.

Fern Cottage

Welcome to this warm, brand new self contained cottage, placed in the front yard of our home for your pleasure. We are located in an old established part of town, but only a 5 minute walk to the Main Street of Te Anau and restaurants, and a 2 minute walk to the edge of the lake. Enjoy the quiet surroundings in your warm, light, roomy cottage, and we'll look forward to meeting you - but ensuring you have plenty of time on your own to rest and relax.

Inside the Square

Overlooking Fergus Square, our unit is newly renovated and decorated. Stacker doors open onto a covered deck for outdoor relaxing. Fully insulated and with a heat pump, you will be warm and comfortable no matter the weather. Just a few minutes walk to the lake, and 5 minutes walk to shops, cafés and bars, the location is perfect! Beautiful lake, spectacular mountains and easily accessed walking tracks. We look forward to sharing Te Anau with you.

The Bivy - Manapouri Lakefont

Welcome to Lake Manapouri, the hidden gem of the South. Our modern 'suite style' bach is nestled in the heart of the best that Manapouri has to offer, with bush walks to gorgeous lake beaches a step out the door. Couples, and groups of two will love this location on the doorstep of Fiordland National Park, while still only a few doors down from a bar/ restaurant, cafe / dairy and the starting point for Doubtful Sound cruises.

The Fox and Fantail

A functional, comfortable tiny home close to the centre of town and the lake. Enjoy relaxing on the spacious deck. A 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive to the centre of town (1.1km) and 10 minutes walk to a great swimming spot at the lake. The property is shared with the hosts but the tiny home is self-contained. Off-street parking, in our driveway, directly in front of the tiny house. There is no TV.

Takahe's Nest - very close to the lake in Te Anau.

PLEASE NOTE_ Owing to staff holidays it is not possible to accept a check in on Christmas Day (25th December). You can depart on Christmas day or later if required. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway just a stroll to the shores of Lake Te Anau and a 90 minute drive to the world renowned Milford Sound, although you may wish to allow more time for photo opportunities!

Or get out and explore it for your yourself with the lake front a stones throw from the doorstep. Walking distance to local Café and restaurant, as well as the Doubtful Sound Ferry Terminal

Manapouri Ridge Studio - Cleaning fee in price

A private, sunny, self-contained three roomed modern unit in Manapouri, attached to a private home. Includes a living area with sink,microwave, fridge and bathroom and a north-facing patio with a view to the mountains. A lake view is a few steps away. Five minute walk to the lake-front, ten minutes walk to the cafe and store, and fifteen minutes by car to Te Anau.

Dusky Peaks Unit 2 (2 Bedroom)

Our two bedroom cottages are fully self contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Each cottage has two bedrooms, sleeping a total of 4 guests. Our guests recommend a two night stay minimum in this area. Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are renowned tourist destinations. Also walks in Fiordland National Park and a local bike trail. No cleaning fee.

The Waiau Retreat

This is a new renovation with privacy a space to relax close to our local restaurant and shop. It backs onto gardens and fish pond with native plantings that attract wood pigeon and tui. Were a five minute walk to real journeys wharf and opposite the lake for a refreshing dip after your trip.
