Beautiful property. Loved the nest! Lots of lovely walks and different places to unwind on the property itself. Waking up to all the birdsong was glorious. We had a really lovely relaxing stay - thank you very much Christine.

Julie’s place was perfect for what we needed. The back deck was so lovely during the late afternoon watching the sun go down, and the lounge room was very spacious. I would highly recommend staying here.

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

This place is an absolute gem. It is exceptionally equipped for a beautiful retreat with friends or family. We had a 6 week old and were incredibly comfortable. The place has everything you can possibly think of for amenities, including an incredible breakfast spread and everything you need to cook a meal. Thank you so much for having us

We enjoyed our 2 night stay on this property and had everything we needed. I think 3 nights would have been best to have more than one full day to relax. Coming from the city, we felt drenched in nature and the beautiful sounds of birds. The noise continues at night with the nocturnal creatures- possums on the roof! The only thing ruining our serenity was me- taking photos!! but how could I not? We enjoyed hanging out at the river. My two kids liked visiting the chickens and collecting eggs. The other animals kept their distance but provided a peaceful outlook. As per other reviews - you do need a lot of mosquito repellent day and night and to just embrace the older cabin vibe. Thanks for the experience.

My sister and I stay for 2 nights and we had the most wonderful time. In a picturesque location we were welcomed by Damian and given lots of local recommendations for food and wineries. We also had a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival which we enjoyed out on the terrace for sunset. We had a cooked breakfast next morning and got more recommendations for the day to visit different wineries around the area. Overall we cannot recommend Elfin Hill enough

A great spot for a group, super rare to find ensuites for every room! Very handy location, especially if you're attending a wedding in the Hunter Valley, as it's close to the Broke Rd main strip. Only stayed for a night but would love to come back for a peaceful weekend away.

We used the house as a base for our daughter’s wedding on the recommendation of a friend who had done the same. It proved to be a great idea as the house provided ample space and facilities for bridesmaids and our family. The grounds and house were perfect for wedding prep photos and videos. The setting is beautiful with sweeping bush views beyond grassy paddocks. Everyone who stayed with us agreed it was perfect for us and we may be back in the future for another wedding!

Three families stayed in Rachael’s property during school break, it was spacious, well-appointed and tranquil. Kids had plenty to do in the game room and the pool. Adults feel safe to let the kids out of our sights as the property was secluded and private. It was 20-min drive away from the main winery areas, but We had most meals in the house as it was too nice a place to not make the most out of. Rachael and Joshua to extremely responsive and friendly when having to deal with a couple of minor issues. We had a great time and will be likely to return.

Our stay at Karen's property was fabulous, just the right peaceful mini break that we so needed. The whole property is beautiful, peaceful, and well looked after, you can even have a few shots of golf. We all loved the pool such a nice added Bonus, we were there every day after going to the beach (or even before some days haha), it's lovely at night with the lights. The guest house is exactly as per the photos in the ad, actually, it feels a bigger space than the photos. The kitchen is well stocked to do some cooking if needed. Our 8 yo boy loved spending time with Zoey (their dog), who is just gorgeous and has such a lovely nature, he also really enjoyed being in charge of feeding the chickens and checking for eggs :-). Karen and Richard are lovely hosts, super accommodating and friendly but also respectful of your privacy, the perfect balance. It was a lovely stay and we hope we can be back soon, our son has already asked when we can go back. Thanks again Karen and Richard :-)

Farm Cottage feels straight out of Vogue Living or Belle magazine, seamlessly blending rustic charm with modern country elegance! think high ceilings, stylish furnishings, mixed with endless character. Kangaroos & horses wander past giving total Man from Snowy River vibes, while rows of olive trees elevate your drive in. Despite feeling completely secluded, it’s only a 10–20 minute drive to the hunters best restaurants and wineries (harkham wines and lucky duck) The butler’s pantry is stocked with everything needed for slow mornings coffee machine, toaster, air fryer while the open kitchen is an entertainer’s dream. The huge rumpus room, framed by floor-to-ceiling glass, connects effortlessly to the outdoors. pool one side, an alfresco dining area the other. The clever layout means some can stay up late while others sleep undisturbed in peaceful bedrooms, the main bathroom’s skylight fills the space with natural light.

Our favourite stay in the valley yet! Taleah and Jason's property was absolutely stunning and decked out with anything you might need for a peaceful getaway, and they were so lovely and accommodating as well. It was also really close by to lots of vineyards and highly rated restaurants. We will definitely be back for a longer stay soon!

It was perfect for a group trip. When I was booking it, I didn’t realise it’s actually 2 houses that sleep 8 guests each. No biggie and it was just a little walk between them, but if you have a group of kids it’d be good to know. The houses were super clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is it’s a shame there was no coffee pods for the coffee machine, as the nearest coffee shop was a bit of a drive away.

Beautiful peaceful location, star gazing unbelievably good from terrace, waking to a garden full of kangaroos and hares - close to all wineries. Two fat blokes excellent wine tour do a door to door service!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Jen & Steve’s property. The pictures didn’t do the place justice, it really is an incredible place - with fantastic communal areas for entertaining and family time. We absolutely love Broke, the view/surroundings didn’t disappoint. This is one for the memory books - would highly recommend a stay. For those looking for wine tours - A Wine Tour in Broke happily arranged pick up from the property no problem.

Heidi's Bella Farm was exceptional. The house was clean, cosy and had all the amenities you need to enjoy a relaxing experience. The location is literally near everything by a short drive. Heidi was always super helpful when requesting information. I can't recommend it highly enough. We'll definitely be back.

Definitely one of the best AirBnB we have stayed at. Judy and Bruce were welcoming, helpful and friendly, even allowing us to check in an hour early (after a very early start for an early flight). Corona cottage is delightful and has everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was rather squeaky, but comfortable according to our adult son who slept on it, and the queen bed was very comfortable. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the pool looked lovely (although we did not get to use it due to rainy weather). A nice touch was the fresh fruit bowl and continental breakfast supplied. Overall, an amazing place for our family to relax and unwind, I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and charming property! Check in was simple and we were greeted with two bottles from the hosts winery. The home was clean, tidy, homely and inviting for our large family and our kids found plenty of things to do both inside and outside the house. There were board games and toys, and they loved the outdoor play area. The bedrooms were well presented and comfortable to sleep in. The host was friendly and helped us with all of our enquires. Internet is as-expected in the area at ~12mbps, but you don’t take a country escape to spend your time online! We had a five star visit which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Hunter.

Charming cottage (and roomier than expected based on pictures) in calm and beautiful surroundings. The deck and kitchen looking out onto the vineyards are very much a highlight. And so are the host: Susan and Greg are very welcoming and helpful. Also bonus points for the goodies waiting for us in the fridge as we arrived.

Absolutely beautiful cottage just outside the very charming town of Wollombi. The cottage has everything you could need - with up market products and soft linens. It must have been designed by a professional interior designer!

This place is actually even more beautiful than the photos — the nature around here is just amazing. If you’re looking to get away from the busy city and really relax, this spot is perfect. Just a heads-up: even in mid-April, the temperature swings a lot between day and night, so bring layers. And the last 2 km to get here are on a rough road, so plan for that too

David was a wonderful host and took the time to answer any questions we had. We had a wonderful group stay and the children thoroughly enjoyed all that this lovely property had to offer.
