We have stayed at Mystic Springs a couple of times now as we find having two large dogs it’s the easiest to take them outside for bathroom breaks and lots of space! This was our first time staying in Little Sisters Getaway unit and it was clean, comfortable and very accessible. They were super kind and helpful and we would return again! It’s a 15 minute walk to downtown and accessible to the highway as well!

we had a great stay with our kids and pup. It was an easy and relaxing trip!

Even with the gondola being down in kicking horse at the moment, we are glad we never changed our plans and kept our great reservation at the Smiley Wolf! We had a fantastic stay at this property. Firstly, the views are surreal; like something out of a movie. Each morning, wed wake up to herds of either elk or deer grazing in the field below the mountain views. The marsh, across the field, was great for bird watching. The cabin-like home was very spacious, clean, cozy and all the necessary supplies - and more, were provided for our stay. The property is located perfectly; it’s just far enough into the wilderness to provide tranquility although still within a reasonable driving distance to the town of Golden. Les and Krys were fantastic hosts. They were very quick to respond to our questions and provided us with privacy. We will, without a doubt, be returning to this property for a vacation in the future.

Absolutely breathtaking slice of heaven! The fully fenced yard was perfect to let the pup roam while we enjoyed the hot tub and mountain views. Having well marked trails straight from the door that led to the river is exactly what you want in a beautiful place like this. 10 out of 10!

Great, clean place as our base for the weekend. Host was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with! Would highly recommend for a peaceful vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elkhorn Lodge. The cabin was more of a 2 level apartment that was quirky but absolutely had everything we needed. It was a quiet location with an easy walk into town. It was warm and cozy and we loved the king size bed upstairs. All very clean and private. I would happily stay there again.

Nice clean, private, peaceful place to stay.Everything was exactly as stated in the add.Provided towels, linens, plates, soaps and some condiments/spices that I forgot. They had firewood available for us to use as well. Awesome place to stay highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug !!

We loved the stay and hiking. Very silent and beautiful country side stay. The hiking trail was fun and a good activity for a group. The host and team was very helpful and provided all the support and advice we needed on time. The house is clean and beautiful. A great escape from the city but not far from the city.

I don't know what else to say except, book it now! We absolutely loved Kristin's place. We are frequent Airbnb guests and I have to say this one is Top 3 favorites. We are also huge animal lovers so the fact that it came with horses, cats and dogs OH MY! It helped us from missing our dogs at home, thank you for sharing them. When you meet Pixie and Burgess- be nice to them and give them ALL the pets and love! The place was very clean, great views and convenient to downtown Golden that had restaurants, grocery store and yes Tim Hortons! The airbnb was our home base while we traveled to Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise and everywhere in between. Would absolutely stay here again and again. Felt like home instantly!

The cabin and surrounding area were amazing! Was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed. There was so much wildlife to see from the large windows. So many deer just grazing on the property, was very cool to just sit and watch them go about. Richard was an excellent host and Watson was very adorable. Would 100% come back and stay again. Felt right at home in this cozy place. The town of Golden was great to explore and had so many great eateries and surrounding activities to stay busy.

Highly recommended this place, the journey to get there is worth it. Absolutely stunning place. The views are breathtaking, a little piece of paradise. We spent our anniversary there and they come to our site with a bouquet of flowers to celebrate. Such special people. Thank you for going above and beyond. We will be back for sure

If you are looking to escape the fast pace of life, this is the place to do it. Limited cell service, no TV - but instead surrounded by natural beauty of trees and mountains. This cabin had everything we needed, and the town of Golden was a short drive away. Our dogs absolutely loved roaming the property and we enjoyed the peaceful scenery. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. I would absolutely book this place again!

Traveling from California to Alaska had some delays in traveling found this property and Host got back to us within 15 min. Extremely nice and cozy enjoyed the property and views

The cabin was absolutely comfortable and clean. It’s very quiet and fresh in the trees. Snow was melting and making the experience even better resting while listening to the melting snow and birds’ chatting. We had a very good time here, very peaceful and relaxing. Love it!

Frances was super nice and helpful and reached out about a week before our trip. She let us know there was construction which might increase the time it takes to drive in which was helpful to know. She responded almost immediately when we had questions. The cabin was chilly on arrival but has two space heaters and a wood fireplace, with wood and fire starting supplies right out front on the front door on the deck. The cabin is only 10 minutes from town with great pubs and little cafes. The only thing I would be mindful of is if you plan to take trips to Banff or Yoho, which we had planned, the trip is much longer (around three hours) when highway 1 is closed. Not sure how long they plan to have construction there. Often times the highway opens up on the weekends though. So just make sure you plan accordingly!

This is hands down the PERFECT base if you’re planning to explore Banff National Park. It’s super clean and comfortable, and located in a quiet local residential area — yet just a short walk away from Banff downtown where there’s plenty of restaurants and shops. Best of all, parking in front of the cabin is free. The cabin was the perfect size for two travellers and we were so well rested here. Melissa also very kindly stocked it with coffee and local tea (which we ended up buying in Banff town!) 😊

Possibly the most beautiful place we have ever been and stayed. Mists rising from the mountains and rainbows every morning in the golden light. Hiking trails right out of the cabin door to mountain springs and pools. We would live in this area!

Wir haben uns bei Liza sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage in der Natur ist toll und die Hütte liebevoll eingerichtet :) Mit dem Auto war man sehr schnell in der Stadt. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet! Leider hörten wir nachts etwas Lärm (vermutlich von den Zügen) - damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet. Sicherlich stört das aber nicht viele.

Great cabin for a getaway with the views of the mountains. Bed was really comfy and the firepit was great to wind down the night to. Short distance to Golden to pick anything up in town.

The host was very accommodating and very communicative. It was a great experience and it's very clean.

Our stay at this Gorgeous cabin was Amazing!!! From the private hot tub to the comfortable bedding and a TV in the livingroom that had some good streaming services, we were encouraged to feel "at home" for the duration of our stay. The kitchen had Everything one would want, including a blender, a mixer, spices, coffee and all pots and pans and dishes ect. The whole place was decorated modern and beautiful 🤩. Both Jackie and Marc were very friendly and yet always made sure to let us know that it was our space for the duration of our rental time. ☺️. It was so clean and well stocked in so many ways. The pretty and Very functional bathroom had extra towels for the hottub and even shampoo and conditioner. We were given suggestions of good places to eat and visit when we asked too! An Incredible area to visit! You must atleast see the Golden Skybridge..even challenge yourself and buy a ticket to walk across it. All in all we would Absolutely stay here again if we were in the area. 😄

We luckily stumbled upon this as we were looking for a place for the first night of our road trip. once we got there we liked it so much we decided to cancel the rest of the road trip and stay there for our mini holiday. It is a beautiful cabin in a great location with beautiful views. everything was very well kept and well stocked. it had everything we needed and then some. communication with the host was great.
