Beautiful home on a beautiful lake. Well stocked with all the dishes and utensils and cookware you could need. Comfortable beds. We rented the pontoon, which was great to take out and cruise the lake. We saw lions and bald eagles from the dock daily, which was a delight. Mark and his team were very responsive and very helpful. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great spot - lots of great activities in the garage and easy access to the lake. Host went above and beyond to make the stay fun and was an excellent communicator.

Great location and view! We came for family time and found the open kitchen and living room area and 5 bedrooms very accommodating. We had what we needed to make and share meals. Easy access to Detroit Lakes for supplies. We got a couple of walks in at Dunton Locks trail nearby.

Loved the house, lots space to relax and enjoy time with family. It was so pretty and warm with plants and art. Appreciated the many messages around the house that made the space welcoming.

Karey's place felt like our own private winter lodge. It snowed a ton while we were there and we were happy (as was our dog) to stay in and watch the snow fall through the big windows. We made full use of the hot tub, gas firepit, electric fireplace, gas stove, kitchen, and guitar. Bed was also very comfy. Terry came by to snow blow and brought by a couple scones :). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The pictures do not give The Little Red Cabin justice. It is very cozy and plenty of room for all of us. The VIEW and LOCATION is perfect. Being located between the lake and the river is amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck relaxing and enjoying the view of Ottertail Lake. Plenty of restaurants and shopping located close by. The cabin is clean and stocked very well from kitchen utensils to games and puzzles. Rick and Terry are very accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend The Little Red Cabin.

Beautiful home! Well taken care of with a large fenced in lot. Absolutely loved the clawfoot tub and the lavender bath bubbles provided made it next level. Thank you so much for sharing your home! We were able to walk/Uber to downtown and enjoy the rodeo at the dome. Would definitely stay again!

Great location! Near Concordia which was our focus for a daughter's graduation. Being able to have a large, fenced yard to bring our puppy dog was terrific as they've a tight relationship. The trail along the Red River was a big bonus for me to get some good runs in. Being so close to the Hjemkomst Center allowed us to revisit this wonderful gem--free after 4pm was a sweet treat!. A lot of wonderful storage in the kitchen! The filtered water container in the fridge was appreciated. The one drawback of the home, which is one that perhaps many wouldn't consider a drawback, were the plug-in scent devices. We simply unplugged them, which took care of the heavy scents, so really not a problem (sinus issues quickly ensue when I'm around such scents, perfumes, etc.). Would absolutely consider staying again, if we find ourselves back in the area again. Thank you, David!

We had a beautiful stay at this cabin. It was a perfect spot and perfect place for us to celebrate Easter with our daughter who goes to school in Alexandria. We will definitely be back!
