The space is ideally suited for two, but we’re happy to accommodate a third guest using the sofa bed in the living room. Just a 5-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd and a 10-minute stroll to the village centre. WiFi, Netflix, and a free car park are included.

The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Not suitable for infants/children.

Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

The Little Loft

Welcome to our loft studio In Methven. A serene retreat nestled above the our detached garage building with its own entrance separate from the main house.
