We can’t say enough nice things about Mark and his wife and their great cabins. Good People. We were right outside Petit Jean State Park. He has bundles of firewood available at a very reasonable price. There’s also a little store with some great homemade fudge,etc right at the entrance to his County Road. We had some car trouble right as we got there, and I called Mark for some local recommendations, and he was happy to accommodate us. Super friendly and helpful, and the shop he recommended took great care of us and had us on the road very quickly. I was worried that our car trouble was going to overshadow the trip, but nothing could be further from the truth. Everyone was so helpful and we enjoyed a great day at the state park and got to see a beautiful sunrise at Petit Jean’s gravesite and overlook by the river, and a Gorgeous sunset at the CCC overlook in the state park. Highly recommended. We would never consider staying anywhere else when we go back to this area.

We had a great time exploring the Ozarks while staying in this beautiful, rustic cabin. It was great central location for scenic UTV rides with our family.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The area was beautiful and a perfect location within the national forrest to ride sxs. The back deck was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We can't wait to book our next stay!

Waterfall cabin #3 was an absolute dream! It felt like my own private oasis. The waterfall was stunning and felt like I was right on top of it. I hiked down to the bottom and jumped in -so refreshing! There is always a beautiful swimming hole in front of the property with sand, a cabana they are building and tons of chairs. Perfect place to sit and relax. I can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our time at the house. Wonderful location, everything that we needed was there. Beds were comfortable. Loved the hot tub and outdoor furniture. Wonderful view while on the back deck. Host was awesome and very easy to correspond with.

This was a beautiful place to stay that was secluded and peaceful. We walked to the lake with ease and enjoyed the hot tub for hours! I was so appreciative of the stacked firewood next to the fire pit that made building a fire easy! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the kitchen needs. I especially appreciated the option of the 2 coffee pots so I could brew my own coffee!

My Bride and I loved our weekend getaway for our anniversary. We were incredibly surprised by an unexpected escort on the property by two of the sweetest dogs ever. The cabin was perfect and we immediately settled in. Kathryn was fantastic with her response time any time we had a question. We will definitely be back.

Great to relax and get away from the city. Good for stargazing and birding. Love it

My wife and I had the pleasure to meet Susan and her husband Ronnie. They both were really nice host and gave lots of good advice on where to ride side by sides and great restaurants to get a meal. We loved their cabins and location and definitely will be returning in the future.

Great place right on the Mulberry with plenty of wildlife. More than enough room for a small family. Very close to Oark General Store, Byrd's, and Mountain View Bistro (walk to the bistro - highly reccomend). Near some FSR's / trails for UTV/ATV riding. Will be back!

We loved this beautiful piece of paradise! It’s so relaxing just sitting on the porch and listening to the sound of the flowing creek. My daughter and I spent a lot of time walking on the rocks as her golden played in the water. We also loved walking up and down the roads. We only turned the TV on once for 5 minutes!! Nature at the cabin is hands down better than anything that could be on TV!!

I would definitely recommend and I will definitely look forward to staying there again

Only problem we had finding prop was expecting to see number on mailbox instead of fence. Everything we needed was provided and more. Everyone from young children to grandparents enjoyed the property. Loved the ambience of the rustic cabin and aroma of cedar. The baked treats were a very nice touch. Lots of room for a gathering of people. Only issue was step up to the back area. Plenty to do on the property in addition to the local attractions. We were all enthralled interacting with the horses. Came prepared to let the little ones try fishing but didn’t get to it. Definitely recommend to someone looking for a place to relax and unwind from the rat race of daily living. Every need anticipated; just need to provide your own meals outside of breakfast.

WOW!!! What a hidden little Gem of a place the cabin was! Everything we needed and then some! the decor was very classy, and the new beds slept like a dream! All of the kitchen amenities worked flawlessly as they are all new appliances! But out favorite thing about it was how close it was located to the Barn at sleepy hollow wedding venue!!! its less than a mile from the barn! Our niece got married there recently, and we booked this spot not even thinking of how convenient it would become to our weekend of wedding shenanigans! All in all this place overs all of the value, with none of the hassle! it's less than 15 minutes from pretty much everything in Clarksville, restaurants, stores,etc... The college is less than 3 miles away... So if your looking for a great weekend getaway off the beaten path, yet close to civilization...Look no more and book this little cabin! PS the firepit outside is wonderful and you can cook on it! So bring smores and book it! lol Sincerely Clayton Shepherd

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. It was close to the mountains and the nearby Walmart wasn’t too far away. Clear communication when I expressed concerns about the shower not draining and he offered to pay me to go to the store to buy drano. Due to renovations, there was no a/c in the game shed, but it was nice weather and not at all too hot. Every thing was as explained in the listing. We had several people ask us where we stayed because of the videos I posted on social media so I sent them the link to book here!

Just stop here with this review and book now. This place is beautiful and clean! We spent our 10 year married anniversary here 4/23 through the 27th. With plans to hit every trail in our sxs around the area turned into just as much time sitting on the porch talking and looking at the beautiful view. This place has direct trail access for the mill creek trails and surrounding which was perfect! The fire pit was perfect at night, man this place is just beautiful. We will be back with our kids next time because they should be able to experience this beautiful place too! Great job and thank you for the honor to stay here!!

We had an amazing stay at Travis’ family home. It was very serene and peaceful. We rode out side by side all over his place and on the dirt roads in the national forest. We were always seeing something new and had tons of wildlife to see. The water was pristine. We could walk the creek and play in the water all day, everyday. There always seems to be something missing in the kitchen at airbnbs and Travis had it all!!!! We never needed anything because it was already there for us. You can feel the history in the home and I imagine how amazing it’d be to grow up there. His dad did an amazing job! It’s all worth it! Spend the money and stay at this farm. You won’t regret it!

This place was absolutely stunning! Private and relaxing. Much needed safe haven for some individuals!

Great host, gave us a heads-up about the weather situation. Place was also great and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay. It was everything and more as described. The house has great A/C, strong water pressure, soft beds, and the host was very thoughtful in providing cleaning supplies. The outside was the star of the show. There was plenty of room to go fishing from the bank, as well as a boat dock, which we used to fish from. It rained one day, and we were still able to fish under the awning of the dock. Big yard for kids to play and run about. There was a very nice area to have a fire, but unfortunately, there was a burn ban, and we were unable to take advantage of it. The host had a quick response to a question we had for the nearest boat ramp. Looking forward to staying here again.

I would give this place a billion stars if I could!!! We absolutely loved our stay here, it was so peaceful, beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We came to hike but never wanted to leave the cabin! There are beautiful trails within 30-60 min and great restaurants nearby too. Casey gave us great recommendations for hiking and restaurants that we never would have known about. This was easily our favorite place that we've stayed and recommed it to everyone! The shower is even better in person!!!!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Meek’s Mountaintop Retreat. We were looking for a place to relax, slow down, and enjoy nature, and this was the perfect place. The house had all we needed. The views from the living room were breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked with anything a person could need to cook with. The bedroom was so cute and the bedding was comfortable. We had all we needed to stay warm when the cooler weather came while we were there. We loved the historic character and charm of the home. As I cooked breakfast, I watched the deer eat and play out the back porch. We grilled and dined on the tables outside. We lounged on the outdoor furniture and drank coffee. It was perfect. The trail system and Sunrise Point is also just steps away from the house. Views were spectacular and pictures don’t do justice. Deborah was friendly, helpful and very accommodating!
