We looked at a few other places but are so glad we chose Monica's lakehouse. It's simply gorgeous, close to everything and well laid out with so much space. Our whole group loved it, and my mom and kids said it was their favorite AirBNB ever. It's near everything and honestly worth every penny. We played pool, cooked every day, rented the hot tub, took walks in the snow with our dog, and even went snow tubing at Wilmot. The whole house is recently updated, and just the perfect place for a large family. Monica even helped us with a Christmas tree and decorations, and groceries and shopping are just down the street. We also loved Antioch Pizza, which delivered super fast. There was everything we could possibly need for our winter holiday. We plan to come back in the summer now, to check out those kayaks and fully enjoy the lakefront Boathouse

Agnieszka's place was perfect for our visit with our son as he graduated boot camp. The home had everything we needed. The minimal decorations made it very easy to clean and easy to find all our stuff when we left. The home is beautifully remodeled on the inside. Much respect to the designer. We brought extra toiletries and paper products and dishwasher tabs because we were staying so many days. There was an adequate amount for a simple weekend stay. Plenty of sleeping space for several people. Just remember there is one bathroom. By the way, there is a great Jewel-Osco grocery store close by. We also visited an exceptional museum in Volo. It was perfect for a family, especially the boys! I really enjoyed the short drive to Kenosha, WI to gather stones by Lake Michigan.

We were in town for our sons’ Navy Boot Camp Graduation and our other Airbnb did not work out. Kevin was a lifesaver! He even let us check in early, which really helped us out. The place was clean, spacious, lots of hang out space with cozy couches and comfortable beds. It had everything we needed and Kevin was very responsive and friendly! It was only 15 minutes from the Navy Base, so great location for us. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you Kevin!

Shawn place is the Greatest in my eyes. Have stayed many times and will be back.

The host Is friend you and responds very quickly. My family loved everything about this house! From the ceiling to floor windows, to the beautiful view of the lake. Although it was not warm enough to use the lake we will 100% be back in the summer time!

Place was very cozy. Neighborhood was very safe and quiet. Parking on site was a plus. Would book again!

Spartan was responsive and friendly! The home was very accommodating and in conveniently close proximity to the Naval Station!

Jim was super responsive and provided great restaurant recommendations. The deck was amazing and we definitley utilized it! We also utilized the sound system that Jim provided along with the Chick Corea album.

Vicki is a great host. She thought of everything a guest would need. I used to live in this area so it’s going down memory lane with many memories! Close to my grandson who I am needed to babysit occasionally. Wish I never moved!

We came for a Father's/son's trip & also a navy graduation. It was a very convenient location to the base. Short trip to the water. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped which was great. If our next graduate will be at basic in this location next year we hope to come back again.

Place was clean and gave a cutesy vibe, recommend.

I stayed here because my husband graduated from the navy and it was the best decision I ever made! Everything was near by! The base is extremely close ! It made everything so much easier. If you’re visiting for the navel graduation, I 100% recommend this Airbnb ! Plus Hugo was just so responsive with any questions I had.

One of the cleanest and well thought out decorative properties that I've stayed in. Extras like coffee, nice towels, laundry supplies were all added pleasantries. The beds & linen were nice & super-comfortable, as was the spacious livingroom L-shaped sofa. Additionally the tasteful nautical touches made a great landing place for us during my grandson's bootcamp graduation.

The apartment had everything we needed. It was walkable to restaurants, had everything we needed to cook, had a very thorough binder with local suggestions. The apartment was cute and comfortable. Two things stood out to me that are very important when I stay at an air Bnb - it didn’t smell like fragrances or chemicals and the beds (and couch) were comfortable. After checking out I thought I had left something in the apartment and sharon was very responsive and helpful.

Feb 26 - Mar 1 We were very grateful for David for approving our last minute reservation for the wonderful home. We flew to Chicago for my youngest brother’s Navy Graduation and what awaited us was the most pleasant experience and coziest warm home. Everything from the communication to experiencing the actual place is spot on. We would love to spend another trip to that same place when we come back for my second brother’s graduation. We highly recommend this place 10/10. Thank you again for David for hosting me and my family.
