Experience elevated camping in our glamping tents that accommodate two people and are situated among a few others at our eclectic campground in the valley between Ridgway and Ouray Colorado. These tents are cleverly designed with cozy fireplaces, a queen bed and some comforts from home. Our location offers mountain views and vast open skies for stargazing, as well as close proximity to the hot springs. Our heated bath house is a short 1 minute (or less) walk away from the tents.

This one-bedroom has a king-size bed, large bathroom with a soaking tub, and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave/convection oven, and a French press for local Rufuge coffee. Enjoy the cozy living room with a decorative gas fireplace, Roku TV, and access to a private patio with a grill. Explore hiking trails, relax by the river nearby, and visit our farm stand for homemade goodies.

Backcountry Basecamp Lodge

The main lodge is approximately 1900 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths which are private to each room. There is a main kitchen and living area with wood burning fireplace and woodstove. There is also another room with a small full kitchen. The addition on the back of the lodge is a separate Airbnb listing but may also be available. This addition is 420 sq ft. With a kitchen, bath, king and a twin bed. Cabin is across from visitor center and post office at north end of Town.

Enjoy our heated, inviting, pet-friendly cabins, which offer access to the salt-water spa, firepit, and grill, all within walking distance to downtown Ouray. Please note: Cabins do not have running water or private bathrooms. Drinking water is available in our heated restroom and shower facilities, located just a short walk from the cabins and maintained regularly throughout the day. Pets are permitted with prior approval, as well as an additional deposit and nightly fees.
