Nous avons passé deux très belles nuits dans la cabane. Le gérant nous attendait directement sur le parking sécurisé et nous a permis de traverser le lac tranquillement (5K/personne). Le logement est magnifique, bien décoré et propre. Attention, il est juste a côté (littéralement à moins de 10m) d'un autre logement en location, ce n'est donc pas le cocon privé et reculé qu'on espérait. Le restaurant recommandé est tout à fait délicieux et assez abordable. Des activités sont organisées (tour en bateau, paddle, kayak, pêche) mais assez chères pour ce qu'on pourrait les négocier ailleurs. En résumé, très beau logement, insolite et reposant pour quelques nuits !

Pros: Very beautiful location with volcano views. Host was responsive and the rooms were comfortable. Cons: - difficult to locate and hard access after rains - no mosquito nets - a little awkward to stay in a nice cottage at the top of the hill with running water and electricity when the surrounding village is without

We felt like home all the time! The staff was extraordinarily friendly! We never had so many nice conversations since travelling through countries. The experiences we made were amazing. The Karungi-Camp Team will fulfill all your dreams. We had the chance to go to an international wedding, join a soccer match, hike though the area, get to know alot of the village and be a part of it. Thank you so much! This is a really perfect spot if you want to check out Volcanoes National Park without breaking the bank. There can be a real lack of affordable accommodation for tourists in the area and this, as a two-bedroom house with small communal room and secure parking, is absolutely perfect. Saved us a fortune, and it was nice to get back from a rainy day's trekking and have that space to unwind in. Janvier and Anne-Marie really went out of their way, even helping us to order take-out from a local restaurant when we didn't feel like going out. They helped explain the route to the park entrance as we were off to see the golden monkeys. And there were lots of little touches in the house, like biscuits, a hairdryer, shampoo - anything you might have forgotten to bring. They were also very flexible about check out. Really so glad we decided to give it a try, and planning to go back as it's just down the road from Crema coffee shop which is the pick-up spot for canoeing Mukungwa River.

Christian was excellent in his communication and responded to my requests very quickly! Jackline, his manager, was so lovely, kind, helpful, fun! She made sure I was well taken care of, came to say hello daily, was a real bonus to my stay! The place is beautiful, well built, thoughtfully decorated, very clean and far away from the noisey center. And the air was much fresher, not stinky from car fumes! There are lovely gardens and beautiful little birds. And the raised Pavillion was amazing, allowing one to view the surrounding countryside and volcanoes in the distance. Highly recommend this lovely place!

Énorme coup de coeur pour ce logement où nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous pendant trois jours! Idéal pour chiller et pour profiter du lac et de ses activités (acrobranche, balade en bateau, paddle) Le fait que ce soit perdu au milieu de rien nous a énormément plu mais effectivement, comme cela est mentionné dans l'annonce, prévoir de quoi manger car sur place tout est là pour cuisiner. Possibilité le lundi et jeudi d'envoyer un bateau au marché sur une autre île pour trouver qq légumes... Kakuru, le voisin est d'une grande gentillesse et d'une aide précieuse pour toute la logistique (accueil à l'arrivée, appel des bateaux pour bouger, balade sur les collines). Vraiment encore merci Kakuru☺️ Attention toutefois aux personnes qui seraient regardantes sur la propreté. Ce n'est pas du tout sale mais c'est une maison de campagne donc il y a des araignées et des petites bestioles. Il n'y a pas non plus d'eau chaude mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment dérangés car nous avons chauffé l'eau

No words to discribe Aheza. The house, the service, the place with the view of the volconoes just from the front porch, all was great. The service provided by Harriet and her team (William, Vestina and Robert) was top notch. If you want to have a great stay, this is the place to be.

I booked this place for my family and she was very understanding. In our challenging journey she was compassionate and she was very flexible. Thank you Agatha. You stand well in many who could not even respond on time. Will highly recommend .
