Very comfortable and welcoming. Love the way it is decorated and the house was nice and clean. This was our second stay here and it was just as great as the last time. Janice is very responsive and friendly when communicating. The location is quiet and peaceful. The house has everything you could need or want, even the pull out sofa was surprisingly comfortable. 10/10 will be back again ❤️

Amazing place. Very small on paper but seems spacious and delivers on all the comforts and necessities. Lovely feel with great local artwork and touches. Quite, secluded and perfectly placed to walk the beautiful Acadiana town, so well preserved. The church, cemetery, farm and retreat across the street are magical and soothing.

Gwen’s place is beautiful and tastefully furnished with a mid-century modern style that we loved. But the best part was the pool and the garden. Everything was in bloom and well cared for and the pool was a welcome amenity. Located in the country, we had a quiet relaxing stay!

We stayed for one night, and Morris had anticipated every need a guest might have while away from home. Everything was clearly labeled, including the lights and cabinets. Morris also left helpful notes, such as “Remove stove top cover before turning on burners.” this made us laugh because someone must have forgotten to do this. He even provided a sound machine in the upstairs bedroom, which was a lovely touch. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets available if needed. The back porch, which overlooked the bayou, was peaceful, and the house is situated in a nice neighborhood. A book was provided that contained more information about the home and recommended places to eat while visiting. We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I hope to return soon!

We had the best time at Kim's! When I say she thought of every detail - I mean she thought of EVERY detail. Safe area, private, really comfy beds and linens and little touches everywhere. We will absolutely be staying here again.

I loved everything about this place!! This loft was the BEST!! It was very clean and spotless, the loft even smelled clean, the artwork was absolutely fantastic and enjoyable to look at, the backyard felt like a botanical garden, the plants were amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable!! 20/10 recommend!!

This was truly the best place we could have found. My sister came into New Orleans and finally agreed to go on a fun road trip. I found Amy's place because it was close to the Tabasco factory and Avery island. and many other wonderful things. The listed description was spot on. She welcomed my 2 dogs and has the most beautiful run for them. The pool was fantastic but the jacuzzi was a piece of heaven. I have seen other reviews about a window next to it and lack of privacy., but I will completely disagree with that. we really never wanted to leave. 100% recommend!!!💜💜💜 Amy is one of the best hosts we have ever had. Oh and by the way ALL instructions directions and rules are CLEARLY stated. Truly an amazing experience.

Spotless! It was free of clutter. They had cold bottled water in the fridge and didn’t charge for it. The air freshener was a little strong but everything was fresh and nice. The bed was cozy and lots of nice pillows. I felt right at home.

Visiting from out of town to see family and attend the Crawfish Festival. Jennifer’s place was everything we needed and more. The location is beautiful and quiet and the ducks are an added bonus for the kids. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Jennifer was responsive and helpful. We had a fantastic stay at the Cajun Cottage! Cindy and Bill were exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved spending time by the pool—it was the perfect place to relax after exploring the area. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and we truly appreciated all the care they put into making our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem of a spot!

Loved this place and so happy we found this. The pool and outside shower were amazing. Most of all Linni and Trent were very helpful with giving us suggestions on where to go tour. They made sure we were comfortable and made sure we had plenty for breakfast and snacks.
