The Blue House is a soulful and creative retreat. Full of quirky touches that make you smile. Everything in the place is there for a reason. The inside has everything you need, and the 3 porches invite you to experience the wonder of the natural beauty all around. Our host, Cynta, is a guide and a friend to all. This is our second visit, and I hope not our last.

Phenomenal location. Felt like I was on a ranch (peaceful, beautiful private) but was just a few 100 yards from a major street so I could get everywhere I needed to go easily. Casita had everything I needed for a 3 day stay. Great hosts. This is the kind of Airbnb I like—real home, not an overly polished/generic commercial space like so many have become. The casita is a very spacious 1 bedroom. Excellent value.

Christy was a great host. She is thoughtful to the point of anticipating needs you didn’t know you had. The property is a delightful oasis!

This is one of the best places to book in Marfa. Will absolutely be staying again! The house is even more beautiful than the photos and very cozy and comfortable. Thanks Terry!

We loved this find en route from San Antonio to CA. There were many unexpected surprises like the tree tunnels of pecan orchards nearby and the vineyards and food joints to visit. The house was perfect for us with our dog in tow. It was an amazing place to unwind for a night. And having Las Cruces nearby would be a bonus for a longer visit. Lyndon and Candice were gracious and friendly hosts that even allowed us to purchase some pecans from their private stash at a great price when they knew we were in search.

One of the best stays I’ve ever had! Beautiful place/location, very relaxing and clean! Hosts are extremely kind and helpful! The price was very reasonable for what you get, lots of local recommendations from the hosts, and even in the guest house there was plenty of privacy! Couldn’t ask for a better stay!

Our family has an amazing time at JH. Everything was as expected, and even more so. The property is peaceful and quiet, but with lots to explore. We had an easy time getting in-and-out, and we would definitely return.

This location was secluded and quiet at night. Do not recommend getting there at night as it can be difficult to navigate, but instructions to get there was very clear.

Super peaceful and quiet spot, the container was in the middle of nowhere, so it was very secluded. Roof deck was amazing for stargazing, and the bed was super comfortable. Great place to unplug and get away.

Meg’s place is remarkable! It felt like coming home. Great thought went into everything: art, linens, and bath products. The check-in was blissfully easy and the shower was set up perfectly for my mobility issues. Location was quiet and peaceful. I slept like a baby. Honestly, the best sleep on our epic road trip. Will stay here again in a heartbeat 💓

I LOVED EVERYTHING about this Airbnb. I mean they had everything you would have back home at your own apartment or your home. It was clean, super comfy bed, awesome kitchen with almost everything you need to cook a great home cooked meal. It was gated so I felt really safe. Overall, it was a great stay even if it is about 15 mins away from downtown Tucson. I would absolutely rebook if it’s available when I need another Airbnb again. Thank you hosts, y'all were very welcoming. Keep up the good work!

At first I was a little confused w/ the bathroom situation but then I figured it out . When in doubt ask! Gregory answered my phone call and helped me out as I was a late arrival . Would stay here again. It was cozy and close to everything cool.

This is a new casita in the backyard of the main home. It was nicely appointed and clean. Parking was convenient and the neighborhood is nice. I travel to El Paso on business, and there was some confusion in that I'd stayed in the front apartment previously. The Airbnb is now in the casita!

Gilbert’s place was SO cute!!!! Tucked away in a beautiful garden, it was great. Felt private and cozy. I like that there were options to sleep in the lofts or on the main floor. Gilbert was very friendly and checked in on us when we had car trouble. Planning to stay again on this trip!

Fantastic Host! The location is perfect for balamorea access and a perfect stop for anyone traveling to the Big Bend area. Will definitely stay again.

Colleen's Airbnb is among the top 5 Airbnbs we have stayed in - and we have stayed in many! The property is beautiful - including native landscaping, a koi pond, magnificent horses, and a swimming pool/hot tub. The casita was comfortable (large comfortable bed, roomy shower, working air conditioning) and well stocked with kitchen essentials. We also enjoyed how beautifully decorated it was. We hope to return again and again as we have family very nearby. Thank you Colleen and Bill!

This was undoubtedly the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in! I wanted a place to begin my solo NM trip and this couldn’t have been more perfect for me. I booked for 4 nights and extended to 8! The container was very comfortable, it was a joy to wake up and watch the sun rise from bed (sometimes before falling back to sleep!) a great base for white sands and hiking in the Organ mountains and don’t even get me started on the pool… absolutely to die for. I swam multiple times a day and it was complete bliss ! Yanick and Tim are really wonderful people and were so kind, friendly and full of advice. The container is right by/behind their home but they are super respectful of your privacy - I believe they live mostly in the front of the house. Before the first night was even over I thought “I’ve got to come back here”.

So glad we were able to stay at Santa Vaca. It was perfect for our last night in Terlingua. The house is as describe. It is setup nicely and was very comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here. It is away from the noise and traffic with big sky views. Thank you Sue and Brian for sharing your piece of the desert with us.

Great stay! Super close to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains, with lots of good food options nearby. The place was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and had everything we needed—especially in the kitchen. Highly recommend!

James home is BEAUTIFUL!! Everything you would need he has available for you. His outdoor patio is awesome!! so nice to have coffee and relax and look at the stars. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and small shops. Will definately stay there again when I come back to Marathon

Es war einfach fantastisch, ein richtiges Ranchleben. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen aber länger, einfach toll. Der Ausritt war ebenfalls wunderschön, die Pferde sind auch sehr gepflegt und freundlich. Wir durften sogar das Osteressen mit ihnen geniessen, sehr lecker. Alle sind super freundlich, auch die Hunde sind sehr lieb. Vielen Dank Ron und Renee wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great spot for star gazing. Hiking trails within walking distance. It had everything we needed inside as well. It was the perfect spot for me and my pups for a few days.

Wendy was awesome & very welcoming & even allowed us into the cabin early since we got there earlier than expected. The cabin has a great ac/heater & the view of the stars was amazing. The bathroom was intimidating with using a bucket instead of a toilet for the bathroom but it was clean & gave privacy & easy to get used to. Be sure to conserve water for the shower if you want hot water. Be aware to buy extra wood & some fire starters if you want to use the fire pit. The beds were very cozy & comfortable as well. Over all it was a very cozy & private area & easy to find. The drive to Big Bend was also not too far. The cabin has all the essentials for a short visit & basically gives you what you need to get by for a vacation stay. I recommend staying there & would stay there again if in the area!
