This cabin is just part of our business which is called Round Pond Lodging, where we offer deer and turkey hunts during the season. Another plus to our property is that we are just minutes away from the Shawnee National Forest, Ohio River, Harrah's Casino, and Paducah KY home of the AQS Quilt Show. Every property we have offers a view of the quiet, beautiful, scenery that we call home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

There's NO thermostat in the apt, we keep it on 70. Explore our 1.5 wooded acres with pool(seasonal) swing set & fire pit. Watch the hummingbirds finches hawks & eagles! Guests love our king & queen beds, plush linens, 50"TV & stocked kitchen. Your comfort is my priority! Might allow a dog>40lbs, MUST be pre-approved & pet fee $40.

The cabin consists of one bedroom with King Size Bed, Bathroom, Kitchenette (Countertop Double Burner & Ninja Oven/Toaster), Living Room and washer & dryer. Sectional couch with recliners. Comfortable Air Mattress for Living Room if you need to sleep 4 guests. Flat Screen TV's in the Living Room & Bedroom. Pet Mini Cows Dozer & Daisy & owners live on site.

"My Happy Place"- Hot Tub & Lake Views

"My Happy Place" at Lake Barkley is a great opportunity to getaway with that special someone for a little rest and relaxation. Enjoy the lake views, hot tub, or the quite time together sitting on the deck. Please be aware this is a 600 square feet, one bedroom cottage and it is connected to a second unit that has a separate entrance. The hot tub is exclusively used by guests in "My Happy Place." NO BOAT DOCK at this home. (Mineral Mound State Park boat ramp and Kuttawa Marina are close.)

Land Between the Lakes is a short 15 minute drive. Fisherman, boaters, and hunters are welcome, plenty of parking and space to turn around to accommodate boat trailers. Conveniently located 3 miles from I-24 Exit 31. Large dog run in the back yard!

It is one bedroom apartment in the basement of our home, with no cleaning fee because we want you to treat it as you would your home. There is a separate entrance and access to 26 acres of hills and trees. We have two horses on the property and feed from anywhere 3 to 15 deer each evening. We are 4.2 miles from I-24 and 7 miles from Kentucky lake, Patti's, Turtle Bay and the marina. Full kitchen available and beautiful sunsets. It is beautiful, words cannot do it justice.
