Walter has a beautiful place with awesome views of the sunsets. It is remote, so you definitely need to get a car. Great recommendations for food. Walter was very friendly and super responsive for anything we needed. One thing to note for future renters, the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are slatted for increased airflow. This does make sound travel, so privacy within your group may be limited.

Our entire party of 7 enjoyed the place thoroughly. Our 9 ye old son was the one who enjoyed it the most as he had the whole entertainment living room to himself self and even used it as his bedroom. Although no AC except in two on the rooms we did not need to turn it on due to the breeze that came through the windows. It was so fresh day in and out for me. Rooms are equipped with fans through the other rooms and that’s all we needed. The place had everything we needed to cook a few breakfast meals and dinner. The views amazing and in love with the plants all around the house. So glad we could get our laundry out of the way before come back home as well. Would definitely recommend staying here. Felt right at home.

Trung was a great host. He was very accommodating when our other reservation fell through at the last minute. The home was clean, comfortable, and nice. It was well stocked and had many extras that helped us to feel more at home. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of storage. The air-conditioning untis worked great and cooled off very quickly! The home is close to may retail establishments. The view of the ocean at sunset was amazing! One bathroom with 7 people was a challenge, but the extra half bath helped immensely. Would definitely rent here again when visiting the Big Island!

Great place for two ❤️ This was the perfect little cabin for two people. Joshua was an amazing host…we were greeted with fruit, coffeee, and chocolate! Can’t get better than that!!!! Thank you Joshua for making the stay very special. The cherry on top was the cats! So sweet and loving 🥰

Love the space, it was clean and fresh. The layout is spacious. The host was responsive and allowed a late check out which was helpful. One thing to note. There is someone staying in the Garage which looks to be a full time tenant. Created an awkward feel for out door living, sharing the patio etc.. All in all a good stay, we would book again.

Great stay! Best host I’ve ever had in all my stays with Airbnb. Responsive, communicative. Went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed; for example, purchased a brand new high chair so we wouldn’t need to pack one. Really nice home. Pool was great.

Beth was a terrific hostess! She always responded warmly to us. Her home and lanai are amazing! And the EASY walk to Manini Beach was the huge cherry on top. Thank you Beth for the use of all the beach toys and snorkel gear!!

This place was exactly what we needed! Even with a last minute double booking, they were accommodating and made the space work very well for us. They were always a text away, and very responsive. Close to what we needed, but also not in the middle of town where it was very busy. Thank you!

Very comfortable condo. Was great for our adult family. Used the beach wagon and beach towels a bunch of times. There was snorkel gear, but we had our own. Was great to have a very nice washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen was adequately equipped for when we ate in. It was great to have so many close shopping and restaurant options within walking distance. Airconditioning was great, especially with ceiling fans to circulate ite air. The parking garage was a little worrisome. At first it looked like our big suv would be too tall, but there was about 3 inches clearance. A little tight getting around the temporay foundation supports in the garage, but it worked out. Nice to have convenient parking. We would definately rent this condo again. Host is wonderful. Very quick responses each time we contacted him.

I loved this place. Stayed here a week with my mom. The balcony is large and the view is amazing. Despite there being a pool from the apartment next door, noise was never an issue. It was a five minute drive to the downtown. The pool area was relaxing. Jason was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of room, very well stocked kitchen, clean, beautiful yard to sit and watch the nature, close to restaurants, shopping, beaches, and activities. Mike and Melissa (and Sheryl!) are wonderful hosts, and their place is spacious and comfortable—me and my dog, Margot, felt instantly at home. They were super friendly with great recommendations, and the apartment is private and quiet, yet super convenient to town and all of Kona’s lovely beaches. Would recommend to anybody!

Erin and Bernie were amazing hosts, and their place in Kona was perfect for our stay! The home was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, welcoming vibe. They provided great local tips and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal! Close to beaches, restaurants, and all the best spots in Kona. We would absolutely stay here again!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Devorah's house. Devorah was gracious, and her house was amazing. Plenty of space for my huge family. The house was perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood that's easy to find. House is as described with a great pool and lots of room. We recommend and will return on our next trip to Kona, Hawaii.

Such a beautiful property and the place was well decorated. We were concerned about there being no AC as we tend to run a little hot, however the winds from the ocean and the ceiling fans were more than enough for the end of april-beginning of may. We didn’t need the patio opened at night and we’re perfectly fine at night with just the ceiling fan but there are many other fans provided if you need. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Would recommend you stay here the views were absolutely gorgeous.

What a Great place! Close to everything, but very peaceful. Great for day trips! The bed was very comfortable. Which is good after a day of exploring. Very friendly host! Made sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful property.

We loved staying here. It is close enough to walk into Kona but still very private and peaceful. If you don't want the walk back after dark, you can get a Lyft for about $10. The house is perfect. They have thought of everything and it is a home away from home. It was spotlessly clean. We wished we could have stayed for longer. Stuart was the perfect host and the lanai was a truly wonderful space to relax. We would absolutely love to come back and stay again.

We had a lovely stay! It was in a quiet, peaceful, and convenient location close to everything (only 5 mins driving from the beach!). The inside was cute and cozy, we felt right at home. Josh was quick to respond and gave very detailed instructions, which was super appreciated! We’d highly recommend staying in this gem in Kona!

Our stay was amazing, and Saige was so kind and responsive, she has a wonderful spirit 🙏🏻💙 everything was exactly as we expected, the room was perfect, a wonderful breeze, most windows were screened, and the rain on the roof was divine. The living area/porch was wonderful too, an amazing view and room for 2 to comfortably spend time together. We had friendly (brave) geckos, and the sound of the curtains blowing was calming. The geodesic dome was peaceful, expansive, and simple, room to create an alter, meditate, and spend time laying and enjoying the peace and quiet. Saige created another space under the trees to relax in the coolness of the shade, surrounded by lush vegetation that felt cozy. The bathroom/shower were lovely as well. The neighborhood isn’t walkable (as we expected) and was very private with only a small handful of cars we noticed during our 3-night stay. We had a few hiccups with the power/water pump that Saige promptly troubleshot and was very accommodating. 🌟🌟🌟

Super adorable space. Very well decorated and functional at same time. We needed a quiet place to read after working. This space as perfect for that as it was in a family neighborhood. For what we needed for the short time it was perfect. I will say IF staying there long term it does get warm inside and at night. But was expected as the place describes not having AC but some fans for comfort. The check in process and communication was wonderful and super accommodating. Really appreciate being able to rent with short notice, he hosts made it easy. Thank you!

Great place to stay in Volcano! This house is very close to the park to catch and eruption. Everything within the house is well thought of - fully stocked with snacks and water, equipment for snorkeling, working out, guide to the lcal area and even a Ukelele with a instruction book. It has a nice hot tub in the back yard. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This place is terrific. The setting is gorgeous; I felt like I was living on my own little Hawi estate for a few days. The yurt is comfortable and well appointed, the kitchen has everything you need, the outdoor shower is a treasure, the little deck a lovely place to sit or stretch, and the silence, breezes, and surrounding trees are lovely. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt. Alles war super sauber und das Airbnb war mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Strandtag braucht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen mit Zitrusfrüchten und Eiern von der Farm. Wir würden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
