Another great stay at this Mt. Vernon gem. Clean and comfortable, you will not be disappointed. Peter is a gracious host and is easy to communicate with. All around great experience once again.

Just as described. October visit, house was toasty warm and comfortable sleeping. We like the old home charm.

Drew’s home is in a beautiful setting and very quiet. It is short walking distance to Kenyon. We loved the natural light, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. A very easy place to stay if visiting Gambier.

Barb’s place was perfect for our family’s needs. We were in town to see our oldest son’s swim meet at Kenyon College. 10 minute drive away.

The area was quiet and peaceful. The home was very clean, and it had everything labeled with clear instructions. One noteworthy issue is the steep driveway. The home sits on a hill overlooking a lake. This might be an issue for some. The location was great. We had a wonderful stay.

Super cute house! Great getaway, we all felt right at home! Two adults and six kids and we didn't try to kill each other once! That beanbag chair was absolutely the favorite!

The Blue Heron cottage was a great place to stay. Awesome open space. Beautiful view of the woods and very peaceful. I wish we had more time to actually relax. After moving the parents back to town it was a great spot to come back to after long days. Bedrooms were very comfy and very well laid out. Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and perfect for anything you need. Hope to return soon.

Charming stay!! Spotless! The only issues were the knives were very dull they just need sharpened and we thought for the cost, the jets on the hot tub were not strong at all. Otherwise it was very relaxing and much needed!!!!!

The property was absolutely beautiful, just as shown in the pictures! The house was spotless and very comfortable! I will definitely stay again!

The cabin was exceptionally clean and cozy with a lovely view. It felt more private than we were expecting based on some of the other reviews we'd read. The hosts were very responsive and they provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We definitely agree that everyone should get donuts from Miller's Bakery and pancakes from Boyd & Wurthmann - both are the best we've ever had!! Another thing worth mentioning is that the fitness center at the Berlin Resort, which was included in the stay, has a fantastic strength training area.

Tony’s place offers so many things…sublime book selection for those who prefer to pontificate rather then watch TV or their phone. Wonderful place for a private time & families as well. (For kids lots to do farms with cows, pigs, goats variety of birds, gophers, maybe even a couple of woodchucks) see the tractors & cool things that the heart of America was built with… remind them what it was like before we all had cell phones. Make a memory that’ll last forever no phone needed! Fields for miles=literal kid paradise..after sitting in a car waiting to get there-turn them loose in the fields out back or let them go visit the bullfrogs in the front pond with Peepers chirping away Peaceful & very safe for couples, families & kids Pool, hot tub fun for everyone!! 10/10 stay. yall are missing out . Amazing property, amazing hosts.

Very clean, very spacious, and super close to town! Great hot tub and a fire-pit option. Bathrooms were spacious and interesting. This space had basically everything we needed, and the beds/couches were very comfy. The 3 things I’d complain about if I had to nitpick was 1. Some of the ac units were loud and would turn on/off periodically. The weather was lovely so we just had them off so they wouldn’t wake us. 2. We found a pink floaty under a bed that wasn’t from us. Otherwise, the rest of the house was really clean! And 3. There were no rules nor exit instructions listed in the listing, but then we had a list when we arrived. None of it was a big deal but we were sad to see we were expected to be quiet after 10, and didn’t know how quiet we had to be since we believe the host lived next door/we did not want to be evicted for watching a loud movie, or karaoke, etc. Otherwise, no complaints, we had a great time and would come back again.

A great option for a family of parents, grandparents and siblings in town to attend Kenyon graduation!

We had a wonderful time, it was very nice and clean and in a beautiful location. we will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our week stay. Elaina was a kind, peaceful and respectful host, who answered any and all of our requests promptly via in person or text. Basement suite was tidy and had everything we needed. When I’m the area ever again, we would love to return!

Nathan was awesome! I needed a last minute place to stay the day of check in and he had it ready within 2 hours of me asking if it was available! He always responded and his Airbnb was so peaceful and relaxing and fun!

Stayed here as a child and Matt had really updated the place. Wood floors. Roku tv. Sliding glass doors. The only thing is the appliances are a bit old so we had to run our clothes through the dryer a couple times and food cooked a bit uneven in the oven. But it was a wonderful experience. Quiet and beautiful. I will be back

Matt’s place is so nice. Lots of space 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for our family of 5. Matt was good about us bringing a dog at the last minute too.
