Andrew and Miranda are STELLAR hosts! They respond right away, and they were completely willing to accommodate us for our one, specific request for this particular trip. Exactly as described, very comfy beds, linens, and pillows. Peaceful, quiet surroundings, and friendly animals too sweet to ignore. 😊 A great night's rest, and that was paramount to our stay with our little boy. We will stay again! 👍👍

Great location. Super clean and nice. It was very comfortable for me and my family. It had everything we needed and it was super convenient to have a washer and dryer for our extended stay.

The cottage was lovely and it was super peaceful but also close enough to downtown Ferndale to walk!

Another great stay. This time for two weeks. Great location, no need for a rental car, you can walk to restaurants, the markets, art studios, the bird sanctuary, the community Redwood forest and the university. The heat is electric woodstove fueled, effective, but very dry if you aren't used to it. I kept it around 62, and cracked the windows a little, then turned it much lower to sleep, kept a pot of water atop it for moisture. This was my fourth yearly visit, and the longest. Hope to return again soon. Thanks!

Our stay at this magical Ferndale cottage was truly unforgettable. From the moment we booked, Caroline was incredibly communicative and thoughtful. Checking in before, during, and after our visit. The location couldn’t be better, just steps from Ferndale’s charming main street and a short drive to the breathtaking Avenue of the Giants. But honestly, we barely wanted to leave the cottage. It’s so cozy, beautifully appointed, and surrounded by a whimsical garden and a babbling creek. It felt like something out of a fairytale. The space is stocked with everything you might need, and Caroline went above and beyond by leaving us a few welcome treats. My partner, who’s British, lit up when he saw the “After Eight” mints.. a sweet, nostalgic touch. Every detail reflects true care and hospitality. We felt completely at home and can’t wait for the chance to return. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay the first time, so wanted to come back for our honeymoon! Jonathan and his family were so welcoming into their beautiful home, we will absolutely be returning!

Hosts were responsive and friendly. Room was nice and clean, quiet and in a convenient location. It was everything we needed.

We love loved staying at Scott's Pelican Roost. The unit was spotless and had a beautiful kitchen that we used to cook most of our meals. We were able to get to both Eureka and Redwood State Park without half an hour, so the locaiton offered good access to both coastal and woodsy hiking. Scott was a very friendly and helpful host, woud definitely recommend!

Williamson River stay was our stop on an overnight stay to Idaho. We appreciated easy access into the cabin. We enjoyed the relaxing view of Williamson River flow from our deck and the dock. We saw Fish jumping and catching a meal, we saw otters swimming by, and geese flying over us, and heard birds singing. We enjoyed Walking around after our 5 hour drive and enjoyed a Beautiful sunset. It was all so quiet and relaxing. We will be back for fishing season. We missed it by a few weeks. Thanks for your warm and friendly welcome Jennifer

Great location - quiet neighborhood but quick and easy access to Redding area and nearby attractions. Unit was very clean and just like the review. Would definitely stay again if in the Redding area for vacation again.

We had a quick weekend away and stayed overnight at the village bungalow. Such a great little spot! Super quiet, peaceful, in a beautiful area, in a great little town! Looks just like the pictures. The hosts happened to be outside when we arrived and were super friendly and totally gave us our space and privacy while letting us know there were there if we needed anything. Great place!

Our stay was wonderful. We had come after a long day of hiking to see waterfalls and came early to our air bnb to crash. The place was very cosy and homely. We had a restful comfortable stay and would recommend this place to people who want some peace and quiet after a long day of being outdoors! Thanks Amy for the experience!

You can tell that Chrissy puts a lot of thought and care into her listings. It was perfect for one night after hiking all day and then heading to Lake Shasta Caverns the next morning, which is a 15 min drive away. Chrissy responds immediately if you need her for anything.

Beautiful place had everything we needed , clean house, always communicated with us made sure we had everything we needed .

Host family and friendly animals(Alpaka, chicken, duck, dog and wild dear) welcomed us. It was a wonderful experience for us, especially for kids to stay with these animals. House and its amenities were good and clean as we expected. Our kids is hoping to stay here next time.

Wonderful stay in this serene sanctuary. I felt right at home at Therese and Lori’s little cabin. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood backing up to the forest. The hosts were gracious and helpful. It was clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable. Would absolutely stay again!

A nice quiet place. Well decorated. Although we didn’t explore surroundings, but looked great. The bed and linens could be little better. Overall I liked it and would highly recommend.

House was great and the kids loved the backyard!! And is also in a nice quiet neighborhood.

The Bigfoot Bungalow was a great base for exploring the redwoods. Quiet and peaceful in beautiful surroundings.

Our family loved staying here. It’s a great location with easy access to anything in the Redding area. It’s quiet, peaceful and a great neighborhood. The hosts are very proactive and give great instructions and make themselves available for any questions. We will definitely be staying again!
