Kate and Chuck were friendly and attentive. The space was private, comfortable, warm (It was unseasonably cold during our stay) and clean. Thank you for the lovely stay!

The cottage was lovely and it was super peaceful but also close enough to downtown Ferndale to walk!

Ed and Jacquie’s place was exactly what we needed. We were on a road trip moving some stuff and towing a trailer, so finding a private, safe spot where we didn’t have to unload everything was a big deal. Their property was perfect, and the pull-through driveway made it super easy to get in and out with the trailer. On top of that, Ed and Jacquie were incredibly kind and welcoming. Honestly, some of the nicest hosts we’ve ever had. The property was peaceful and relaxing, with a creek out back, and the house itself was cozy and comfortable. We felt right at home. I only wish we could have stayed longer! If you’re in the area and need somewhere to stay, definitely stay here. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Mott’s Cottage is perfect for peace and relaxation! The Fall River Valley is just stunning, with Mt. Lassen, Mt. Shasta, and the Fall River gracing the 360° view! The hosts Natalie, Jeremy, and their eldest daughter were super hospitable and helpful in getting us settled. Homemade chocolate banana muffins (super yummy!) and fresh eggs greeted us as we arrived. ☺️ The cows, ducks, chickens, and farm dogs were so fun to watch! This cottage is a quaint and cozy and perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle. Our hosts were just awesome!!

Our stay at this magical Ferndale cottage was truly unforgettable. From the moment we booked, Caroline was incredibly communicative and thoughtful. Checking in before, during, and after our visit. The location couldn’t be better, just steps from Ferndale’s charming main street and a short drive to the breathtaking Avenue of the Giants. But honestly, we barely wanted to leave the cottage. It’s so cozy, beautifully appointed, and surrounded by a whimsical garden and a babbling creek. It felt like something out of a fairytale. The space is stocked with everything you might need, and Caroline went above and beyond by leaving us a few welcome treats. My partner, who’s British, lit up when he saw the “After Eight” mints.. a sweet, nostalgic touch. Every detail reflects true care and hospitality. We felt completely at home and can’t wait for the chance to return. Highly recommended!

Wow what a cool place. I like finding last minute places in my adventures because I never know quite where I'll end up. My daughter and I need a place to stay for one night while we explored the redwoods. This trailer is super clean and beyond cool, the property is gorgeous and there is a very cool outdoor fire pit! The hosts were very easy to connect with and quick to reply. I'll be back for sure!!!

We had a lovely stay at Lavender Hill! Such a beautiful location, and a cozy home, we loved every moment there. Everything was nice and clean, but still felt like a home. It was well stocked and had everything we needed. We're all looking forward to our next family visit so we can stay there again!

Pauline was most gracious and helpful. Went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Her farmhouse was full of her personality and artistic flair. Very enjoyable stay. Bed comfortable, entire house clean and full of art and color. Grounds open spacious, plenty of parking, chicken coop, and yes, rooster greetings as expected in country setting. Lots of outdoor seating, all in all a wonderful stay. Thanks Pauline.

This farm was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Rebecca went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our entire stay. We definitely hope to come back to Etna and stay here!!!

This was a phenomenal cottage out in the redwoods! It was super clean. We really enjoyed the gas grill, the fire pit in the back and the lovely creek that ran behind the home. We also really enjoyed seeing the Roosevelt elk in the front yard. So peaceful! The host was wonderful and very accommodating! The only drawback to staying in this particular area is that it is about 30 minutes to a grocery store or restaurant. But there is so much to see that is very close by including the beach ! Also, six people was quite difficult with only one bathroom. I can’t imagine 8. 😅 Overall- this was an amazing stay! We would definitely 💯 recommend!

Sara was such an amazing host! We got duck eggs prior to arriving and got to feed the ducks and get a tour around the farm! The long hike she led us on was so gorgeous, I felt like a princess in an enchanted forest. The kitchen view of the duckies was by far my favorite part.

Jody's home was the perfect spot for our family of 5. Kids loved the farm and enjoyed interacting with all the animals; the adults loved relaxing in the home while listening to the rushing water of the creek, the deck and waterfall. Jody was a wonderful and responsive host, we look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful cottage set at a serene winery. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed Airbnb. Check in was easy and Jenny was very quick to respond and helpful. We were lucky to get this booked, easy to see why it is usually reserved.

The family and I had a wonderful experience staying at The Red Dragon House! The house is clean, the hosts are friendly and responsive, and the location is peaceful. This is a great place to stay if you don't mind being just a few minutes from downtown Ashland - for us, this was preferable. There are thoughtful touches throughout the house, and you can tell the hosts spent time considering the care and comfort of their guests. We've stayed here twice now, and can't wait to return for our next visit to Ashland!

Tina’s house was huge and in a beautiful location. The majority of the state in this area is redwood forrest, however Tina’s place is in a very rural flat land farm town surrounded by fields of farm animals. Her house is a mere 10 minutes off the 101, which is 25 or so minutes to Avenue of the Giants (which we stayed here for that half-marathon) and 15 minutes to Eurkeka. We loved the remoteness of the house. There are cows on property and workers driving around the area, however that didn’t bother us at all. We initially booked this place as we expected to have another couple staying with us, however they bailed, so it was just my wife and I. The place was massive for just two of us. We didn’t really even use the second half of the house. The wood burning fireplace was nice, if not a bit difficult to figure out how to work. Central heating was perfect as it was a bit chilly in the area as well. We also LOVED the tiny town of Ferndale. It’s exactly what you hope for. Thank you!

Thanks to the many amazing reviews, I chose this place and everything was exactly how everyone said! When I drove into the neighborhood at first I had a “bad” impression but as soon as I parked my car at the cottage the feeling changed and opening up that door made my trip! That red sofa is my favorite part! It really creates a beautiful ambience! My Italian girlfriend really cares about cleaning and she was speechless! Everything was extremely clean and made our staying very comfortable. We have never had such a great Airbnb experience like we had at Sally’s. She is such an amazing host, she spent so much time helping us refine our trip with recommendations and making us feeling at home with little details like her famous cobbler and her chickens’ eggs. So we genuinely can’t recommend this place enough!
