Truly magical place!!! Beautiful house in a super-pretty mountain hamlet, surrounded by forest and with unbelievable views all the way to the distant sea below! Perfect place to relax and watch the seasons slowly change... The house is extremely large and very comfortable, fully equipped with everything necessary. Centrally located with pleasant drives towards the many attractions of central Fukuoka / Dazaifu / Karatsu and beyond. Yamaguchi-san and his wife are amazing hosts, they have treated us with so much kindness and hospitality. Hard to believe now it was all real and not a dream...

บ้านพักใหญ่โต กว้างขวางมาก มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบ โดยเฉพาะครัว ดีมาก มีออนเซ็นให้แช่ภายในบ้านเป็นส่วนตัวดีมาก เหมาะกับการมาเป็นครอบครัว รอบๆมีร้านสะดวกซื้อ และซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ต ที่นอนนุ่มนอนสบายมาก ถ้ามีโอกาสจะมาพักอีก

한국인 사장님께서 운영하신다고 해서 안심하고 예약하였습니다. 3박동안 너무 편안하게 잘 쉬었습니다. 아침마다 안부를 물어주시고 불편한점이 없는지 물어봐 주셨어요. 세심한 배려에 감동하였습니다. 전기매트도 준비해 주셔서 따뜻하게 머물렀습니다. 목욕바구니도 따로 준비해놓으셔서 걸어서 3분거리에 해문사온천을 매일 저녁 갈 수 있었어요! 주차도 숙소 바로 앞에 할 수 있어서 정말 편했어요!! 정말 깨끗하게 관리하셨고. 어머님이 너무 좋아하셨습니다! 뱃부타워 바로 앞이라 야경도 너무 좋았어요. 다음에 또 방문하겠습니다.! 일본에 여러번 왔지만 문제가 생겼을때 바로 답변해주셔서 걱정없이 여행했습니다. 이렇게 마음 편하게 여행한적은 처음이예요. 정말 최고의 숙소입니다^^♡

Well furnished studio in an excellent location, near a great shopping area, with a supermarket and excellent restaurants. The metro station is nearby and the free bikes are a great way to discover the city and its surroundings. Masaru-San is a great host making sure that you feel safe and confortable. The express way nearby can be a bit noisy sometimes (emergency vehicles or super loud engine), but most of the time it's sounds more like a pleasant background white noise. Great and reliable internet connection and fairly quiet building during the day for those who has to work. I would definitely come back when I get the chance. Thanks again Masaru 👍🏻

숙소가 정말 깨끗하고 대가족이 이용하기 쾌적하게 넓었습니다. 온천수를 이용할 수 있는 노천탕도 조금 쌀쌀한 봄에 딱이였어요. 숙소 뒷길로 조금 가다보면 킨린 호수가 바로 나오고 상점가나 편의점도 산책삼아 걸어가기 좋아요 가는 길 아기자기 한 마을 분위기가 정말 좋았습니다.

古き良き日本の伝統的家屋なので現代的なホテルと比べてしまうといろいろ不便はありますが、とっても広く周りには家がないのでお子様連れやペット連れの方などは周りに気を遣わず思い切りのんびりできるかと思います。ホストさんは過去一と言って良い程フレンドリーな方なのでいろいろコミュニケーションをとるとより充実した旅になると思います。

Great stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was clean and all the appliances worked perfectly. Location is very central too! We made a mistake and thought we had booked for one extra night - luckily, Junko was very accommodating and helped us find a solution. Very grateful for that. Thanks again! 古い日本家屋ですが必要な修繕はされており、ホストファミリーが徹底的に清掃しています。 ペット可でキッチンが有るのに臭いがしません。 日本の畳が敷かれた部屋が2つあります。 それぞれにエアコンがあり、リラックスして過ごせます。 高速なWIFIがあり、テレビはありません。 しかし、シャンプーも洗剤も調味料も全て揃っています。 ただし事前にホストファミリーに言われていましたが、ペット用のアイテムは何も無く持参する必要があります。犬の散歩はしやすいエリアです。 場所はGoogle Mapsに従えばピンポイントで到着できます。駐車場は建物の隣にあり狭くありません。

What a find this was! Fusako was an excellent host. Communication was easy (Fusako is fluent in English). We hired a car from Hakata and drove here easily using the address in the car sat nav. The accommodation was very comfortable in an old farm building. We booked the meal option which was an excellent decision! Seeing a previous review, we asked if it was possible to have the vegetarian meal plan - no problem. The food was absolutely delicious and used local produce e.g shitake mushrooms. It was a highlight of our trip. We did some hiking close by - plenty of walking within a few minutes. We will be back! Fusako even helped me order some flowers online to deliver to my Japanese friend we had just visited. Thank you Fusako-san!

A farmhouse in a rural location with shrines and temples nearby. Local onsens and cherry blossom. We had great practice making fires in our wood fired heater - very cosy. The host cooked us a delicious home-cooked dinner of local specialities and also gave us some of her homemade plum wine - oishi desu yo!

Loved this spot, aside from the unit itself being really nice, this was in a really great location close to the Hells of Beppu. Nice and quiet, with an amazing view of Kannawa and Beppu. Note: this is on the 4th floor with no elevator, in case you have heavy luggage you will be carrying it up yourself.

At first I had trouble finding the place because it seemed in the middle of nowhere and some places around it looked dilapidated. But once I noticed the Airbnb sign above the entrance, I found the room quickly. Almost everything you want to do in Saga is basically a 30min walk in any direction from this place. It's close to Saga station, next to some night life spots, and has a quaint community plaza down south (which features Plaza 656, as shown in zombieland saga). The room itself is a studio, but a spacious studio with ample kitchen and bathroom space, much better than city studios. It's an excellent place to setup a base with a buddy or alone and explore all of Saga city and the surrounding towns. The WiFi is also excellent (~100Mbps), as someone who has been to places with terrible wifi, it's become a must when traveling, how else are you going to plan efficiently with slow internet? If I ever find myself in Saga again, I wouldn't mind staying at this place again.
