Or plan ahead for the ski season! We get epic snow every year with easy access to Boreal, Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge just a few mins away. Expect tons of charm in this rustic, "old Kingvale" cabin. Accommodates 4-6 comfortably. Situated conveniently near the freeway but feels like the backcountry. Best of both worlds!

Peaceful and scenic PlaVada Woodlands is located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains on the Yuba river on Donner Summit off I-80. We are 15 mins to Donner Lake and Truckee and just a bit further is spectacular Lake Tahoe. Donner Summit area has some of the finest skiing in the world, it's an ideal location as your base for hitting the slopes. Locally -Soda Springs Resort, Donner Ski Ranch, Royal Gorge, Sugar Bowl and Boreal. Squaw Valley and Alpine and Northstar are half an hour away

Our beautiful Studio is located in the peaceful area of Olympic Valley, in a dead-end street with limited traffic which add to your retreat. It is the perfect retreat for max 2 guests. You can enjoy walking along the beautiful Olympic Valley meadow to the Village (0.8 miles) and go for a bite or do some shopping....very short drive....Hiking Granite Peak or Shirley Canyon, biking or roller blade along the meadow and the Truckee River to Tahoe City, Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing.

Like a home on a golf course except up here the golf course is Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Resort and Soda Springs downhill ski resort. Sugar Bowl and Donner Ski Ranch ski resorts are only two miles down the road. Boreal is just one exit away on highway 80. Small condo at base of Tahoe Donner ski hill. Its really ideal for 2 people. However, there is a couch that folds down can becomes a bed (suitable for someone under 5.8). Deck overlooks the ski hill and has a killer view. There is a full size fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven and induction hot plate. Full bathroom. The unit has a table / work station. There are two chars and there are two black side tables that can act as extra seats so 4 people can sit at the table.

Truckee River Bike House

ON THE TRUCKEE RIVER right in the historic downtown area, our little place is a 2 block walk to restaurants and shopping. You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all. It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. QUIET people only please. We have a firm sofa sleeper. we have a couple of other mattresses we can bring in if you prefer a softer bed.

Coziest Cabin in the Woods

A great cabin for a couple (or two couples) or small family, with easy access to great hiking and mountain biking trails in the summer. In the winter, there is a sledding hill and miles of snowshoe trails out the back door. Four ski resorts are within ten minutes' drive. The deck is the perfect place to watch the bountiful stars in the clear mountain air any time of year. Please read the notes about winter conditions, especially the driveway, very carefully.

Come and enjoy the Acorn Cabin. Walk to Royal Gorge for cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing or enjoy a short drive (less than 5-10 minutes typically) to 4 down hill resorts close by : Sugar Bowl, Soda Springs (snow tubing), Boreal and Donner Ski Ranch. We provide the cabin, you bring the fun and your own SHEETS/TOWELS. There is one King Bed, one Queen Bed, 1 twin bed (lower bunk) and 1 single bed (upper bunk).
