A Highland cottage built in the 1720's, newly refurbished in the spirit of Scottish country living. Tradition, authenticity and fireside comfort complement contemporary furnishings and light airy spaces.

The south facing cabin is set in the Spey Valley, Scottish Highlands near Aviemore with a pine forest stretching into Glenfeshie, Cairngorms mountains and the RSPB Insh Marshes. While enjoying the peace of this small village there are food shops & station 5 miles away and food, fuel, gift, sports shops 10 miles away. The west coast, Inverness, Braemar, Edinburgh are all possible as day excursions.

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

The cabin sleeps two people comfortably, including an open plan living/sleeping area housing a small kitchenette with an electric hob and a shower /wc room. A log burner gives the room a super cosy feel. The cabin shares a driveway with the owners whose property is next door to the cabin.
