Port Moluag House, Isle of Lismore

Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

"Dail an Fheidh" (gaelic for "Deer Field") is a 2 bedroom house situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe. The house is set in an acre of field and has direct access to the loch. There are amazing views over to Ben Nevis and red deer graze near the house, all year long. A 40 minute drive will take you to the popular town of Fort William or head west to explore the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula. You can use the Corran Ferry to access the house, but please note, we are not on an island.

Garbhein is 6 miles from Glencoe, nestled above picturesque Loch Leven, with stunning 360-degree mountain views. A 10-minute walk from friendly Kinlochleven, this lovely nineteenth-century deer stalker's cottage combines traditional charm with modern luxury, total peace with local amenities. The cottage is perfect as a romantic getaway, retreat, or base for outdoor sports and sightseeing, offering comfortable, cosy, flexible accommodation to suit solo travellers, couples, families and friends.

Bracken Barn is situated on a hill overlooking Cuil Bay and Loch Linnhe, with views stretching down the Morvern Peninsula, past the small islands of Balnagowan, Shuna and Lismore…and all the way to the Isle of Mull. Recently converted from an agricultural shed, it is now an extremely comfortable holiday home – a silk purse from a sow’s ear! The high-ceilinged sitting room has a wood-burning stove and with large picture windows, guests will surely never tire of the ever-changing loch views.

Small Cozy Cabin, Kinlochleven

Our chalet is based in the busy village of Kinlochleven with many visitors every year passing through on the West Highland Way. We are in an ideal location for people that love to explore the outdoors with many mountain walks and outdoor activities nearby. We have a shared driveway where you can park a vehicle, fast WiFi and are situated in a very quiet area. We will provide teas, coffees, milk along with shampoo and soap. We have a drying room for any wet equipment from walking in the rain.

The Chalet, Glen Etive

Located in Glen Etive near Glen Coe the Chalet is a cosy private retreat for two. The main living area has a comfortable sofa, king sized bed and a dining table that seats two. A kitchenette with oven and hob provides all basic cooking facilities. There’s no WiFi at the property but you can get 4G on EE. We provide: A welcome basket 🧺 Salt, pepper and oil. Shampoo and soap. TV with DVD only. Please note we are licensed and insured for two people only. License Number- HI-40283-F

Rosie the Road Workers' Living Wagon

Situated in Upper Inverroy, near Roy Bridge, and with unbroken views to some of Scotland’s highest and most beautiful peaks, Rosie is ideally placed for visitors who are keen to explore the beautiful mountains, glens, lochs and coastal waters of Lochaber, the outdoor capital of the U.K. Rosie was built in 2019 upon an original early 1930’s road workers’ living wagon chassis. Situated in a private position adjacent to our house, Rosie looks out towards  the magnificent Grey Corrie mountains.

Writer's Retreat in the heart of Perthshire

'The Howff' is a refurbished farm worker's bothy in a rural location with lots of walks and access to beautiful parts of Perthshire. One hour's drive from Edinburgh, 20 mins Dundee or Perth. This authentic bothy contains one room with single bed, wood burning stove, mini kitchen unit with fridge, oven, portable hob and kettle, separate shower room, wc, basin. Linen and towels included. Although small, The Howff is warm and cosy and makes a perfect retreat. Please note for ONE only.

The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Unique, single-room glass-fronted hut in a silver birch/rowan wood on a small hill, full of character with a spectacular view 25 miles to the East. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. Argyll Retreat by Lock Eck. Argyll Forest Park.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. A great half-way stop from Glasgow to Isle of Skye, and easy to get to the Glenfinnan Viaduct, North Coast 500, Inverness, Oban, and beyond... Happy days!
