In town to attend a wedding, this house was perfect for my husband and I with our two adult children. The common living areas are downstairs with the three bedrooms upstairs. One full bathroom is upstairs and the other full bathroom is downstairs for convenience. Spacious, clean, and very nicely equipped-the little extras made it easy to see why Nick and Josh are super hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

Sweet Tart Orchard What a lovely stay! The place was so cozy and comfortable :) We requested a S’mores kit and apple cider, and they were both amazing—so refreshing and just what we needed! Unfortunately, we lost power during our stay, but Peter kept the communication smooth and helpful. The water was clean and crisp, and we enjoyed a peaceful walk to the swimming hole. We had so much fun playing with the dogs, Pepper and Tater, and feeding the goats, Bacon and Avocado. It was so nice to stroll around and take in the beautiful surroundings :) Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay! ❤️❤️

Brian’s virtual hospitality was warm and welcoming. I didn’t figure out that the garage is for snowmobiles (assumption) until the last day. We felt at home at once. Our small dog wanted to chase every squirrel and the cows that lead the pig down the street. We were there with another couple for a virtual conference with several sessions over Saturday and Sunday. The bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms clean, kitchen small but well equipped meeting all our needs, and TV room perfect for the conference. Walking the dog in the back up the hill was beautiful even in the rain. We talked about booking for the October conference already. Thanks, Brian.

We love staying at the Brownie. It’s a great home for any active family that appreciates a quiet surrounding. Great home and so close to SR. It can’t be beat.

Had a great time staying here! There was so much space, everything was very comfy, loved the pool + ping pong + hot tub. The road getting up to the place is unpaved so we were concerned our 2WD car couldn’t make it up, but by the time we got back from skiing, the road had been plowed and sanded. The two minor downsides during my stay were the water (shower + sinks) occasionally smelled strongly of sulfur (?) but it wasn’t a big deal because the fridge had a filtered water dispenser. Also there is a requirement to not wear shoes in the house but the floors were dirty. No visible dirt but the floors definitely were not mopped. Very responsive host so I imagine if I complained about it something would have been done but it wasn’t actually a real issue.

This was the second consecutive year we rented from Karen, like the first year the place was immaculate and set in such a serene area. The trails on site are always a favorite!

We enjoyed this stay very much. It was very conveniently located close to Sunday River, which made our skiing plans easy to execute. The hot tub was definitely a plus and the house easily accommodated our multiple adults, kids, and even a couple dogs.

My stay was in between two large snow storms, and Arthur had the driveway plowed for us, and checked in on us during the stay.

Great stay. Just as advertised. Kids loved the bunk beds and being able to ski to the lift right out the back door. Added bonus that the pool was in the same building. Overall just what we expected.

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

This place was more spacious than the photos made it look, had a well-appointed kitchen, cozy propane fireplace, and very comfortable beds. It's a 5 minute drive from the slopes -- I recommend it for anyone looking to spend a few days skiing Sunday River.

Amazing little condo, perfect for a family of four! I hope to stay there again next season!

Beautiful mountain cabin in a great location thats close to Sugarloaf and Saddleback mtn as well as atv/snowmobile trails.

Great little spot right in town. Super convenient for walking to shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the river, which made for a relaxing morning. Bonus: the very sweet cat, Lucy, who made the stay even cozier. Would definitely stay here again!

What a great place to stay and visit our daughter at Colby. Cozy and comfortable, spent some great time there. Comfortable beds, plenty of space and kitchen had everything we needed. It was perfect.

Beautiful spot only 8 minutes away from the Sunday River resort. Walkable to the local restaurants if you like, or a 2 minute drive to any of them otherwise (check out Sud’s Bar). Place was spotless, easy check in / check out, lots of parking, cute fireplace, and I’m a sucker for a hot tub, which was massive (bring flip flops, since it’s in the gravel part of the backyard). Overall, fantastic experience. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a weekend spot with easy access to Sunday River. Thanks, Mark!
