What a lovely house and beautiful location. The house was so well maintained with everything labeled and ready for use. The location is so beautiful - even better in person. The sunset was spectacular! Definitely going to head back.

We loved staying at John's place, especially hanging out on the screened-in and open decks in the back of the house facing the water. Beautiful view, quiet, and very peaceful. We also had plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well-appointed.

Honestly, this could be the best Airbnb experience we have had to date. The house was actually nicer than the pictures, completely spotless and very quiet. Our dog loved the large fenced in yard. Steven was extremely accommodating and responsive. We felt so welcomed as this home was above and beyond with cookies and fresh fruit and water which were a lifesaver after being exhausted from a long drive. Steven even asked us if we needed cream in the morning for our coffee! I truly can’t say enough about this place as five stars doesn’t seem like enough. The bed was super comfy and we had such a great, quiet nights rest! We can’t thank you enough Steven and will definitely consider staying for during our Florida travels next year!!

Truly a special place where we felt like home. Great location if you want a mix of history and nature. Hosts Virginia and Stephen were kind and friendly, we especially enjoyed our visits to the donkeys! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Very peaceful and beautiful property

Amy’s place was absolutely stunning! It was this charming little house that looked brand new, with all the latest renovations. You could tell that Amy put a lot of love and effort into making it so special. And guess what? Amy went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you needed during your stay. From snacks to toothpaste and toothbrushes, you name it, they had it. Whenever I have to go back down to that part of Virginia, I’m definitely going to check if Amy’s place is available again. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

We were here for a work trip in West Point, VA. We were originally planning on staying in West Point, but the properties were way out of budget. Anthony’s place was perfect. It was a short drive to the job site and town. It was within budget. He was super responsive and his place was exactly what we needed!!
