Arley, by Lough Sheelin, Crover Co Cavan / MeathA family holiday home, accessed by a private lane, and situated in an attractive orchard garden beside the shore of Lough Sheelin. Light and airy in summer, it's cosy in winter with an open fire, but needs redecoration; old fashioned home comforts. Crover House is 5 minutes away, so we provide a convenient base for guests attending weddings there. Arley offers a relaxing rural stop-over for visitors exploring the Wild Atlantic Way and west or north west destinations. Dublin Airport 68 miles.
Peacock HouseThe Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
