This is our second time staying at Kristy's place. Just like last time, it was a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable! Every time I've communicated with Kristy she's been quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect spot for a large group! There is plenty of room inside and out, with beds for everyone. It was also great to have multiple rooms with TVs so people could relax, and ample parking space. A great find and great host!

As we opened the door, there was that great, welcoming smell. The place was very clean, beds well made, ready for us. Our host even had snacks for us which were welcoming since we had a 3-hr trip to get there. We definitely recommend this place to a big family!

My family and I loved spending a long weekend at Susan's cozy, tasteful place on the water. The location is especially private and peaceful and we particularly enjoyed the screened porch and fire pit / hammock area.

Richard was an excellent host who had a dozen of fresh baked donuts waiting for us upon arrival from an awesome local bakery, the house was clean and ready for our stay. While there may not be much to do in fortescue, it is definitely worth staying if enjoy waking up to a beautiful view of the ocean or casting a line for some good fishing.

Great location for a short stay for a sports tournament at the DE Turf Complex. Very relaxing and beautiful views of the bay.

We stayed at Sienna’s for a winter getaway. It was secluded and perfect for our stay. Watching snow fall over the bay and beach was amazing.

The Blue Horizon is a great place to stay especially if you are in the area for a sporting tournament. The field is close to this home (about 10 minutes) so it was good for the back and forth breaks throughout the day. Definitely a perfect size for a family of 3. The backyard was very peaceful and private. Joe’s enclosed patio was great for playing games. Joe was also flexible on our check out time because there was no one checking in that day. We were very appreciative of that!

Great place - just the right size for two of us and our dog for a quick Thanksgiving getaway. The house had everything we needed and was not too far from the towns on the Eastern Shore. Looking forward to a return visit.

Had a crew of 6 of us for most of our trip and it worked out great! Marty was very accommodating and let us extend our stay. Would stay again if ever in the area. Thank you!

We were visiting our son who is in the Air Force. It was so nice to have an actual home to just hang out and spend some time together. Gary was super responsive when we had a couple minor questions. The home's location can not be beat! So close to town and the AFB with peaceful and relaxing country feel.

In general, we loved the place. A few shortcomings: coffee machine was not emptied and cleaned. No soap in showers. No broiler pan or sheet pan. No scissors. Sugar would have been helpful. But, otherwise, the house was spotless and well supplied. Thank you, Nate

Rick and Patty's home was even better than expected. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the cupboards and drawers were even labeled. It was so easy to find what we needed and keep the place organized. ( We cooked and ate all of our meals at the house). The house is very comfortable and there is plenty of space to spread out. The grounds are beautifully kept and the garden is lovely. The dogs were thrilled with the size of the fenced in yard and especially loved the treats that Patty and Rick left for them. Although it was incredibly hot the week we visited, the screened in porches allowed us to be outside - sort of. The AC and ceiling fans were able to quietly keep us cool. Of course the proximity to the beach and the preserve were the initial reasons we rented the house, but the comfort and amenities of the home itself were reason enough. Thank you for having us.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The space was actually more spacious than pictures and what I thought. The host responded very quickly and was very polite & helpful. Everything was great on my end no complaints at all. I will definitely recommend staying at this place and I will definitely be back!

This is the third time that I have stayed at the Lazy Seagull. I have stayed with three different groups of people and we have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location for our event at DE Turf Sports Complex is perfect, and the house is awesome. It is furnished well and decorated with class. It has everything needed for a stay away from home. I love the smell walking into the house. It is fresh and clean. Brenda was quick to respond and met our needs. Thanks again to Brenda for allowing us to stay at her house.

Awesome place close to where I work will stay again

Maria was an excellent host. She responded immediately to our questions/requests. She left detailed instructions, great local recommendations, and treats for the kids. Her house was very clean and exactly as pictured. The house had everything we needed and more! We had a great experience while we were in town for a lacrosse tournament and will definitely stay there again.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beach house during my daughter’s field hockey tournament at the DE Turf Sports Complex, which was conveniently located just about 25 minutes away. The home was absolutely perfect for our needs, serving as both a comfortable retreat and a gathering space for our extended family. With nine of us in total there was plenty of room to relax without ever feeling crowded. The home is beautifully maintained. One of the most appreciated touches was how well-stocked the house was with linens, towels, and pantry essentials. It was such a relief to find items we needed readily available, especially since I happened to forget a few things during packing. These extra conveniences really set this property apart from others we’ve stayed at in the past. Overall, this was an exceptional stay that truly exceeded our expectations. We’re already planning to return next year for the tournament, and we look forward to staying here again. Many thanks!
