Wye River beach shack hideaway in the tree tops

Wye River Beach Shack is a 2-bedroom 1950s beach house in the treetops with wildlife & ocean views, perfectly suited for a couple, two couples or a family. A short walk down to the surf beach, cafe/general store and pub situated on the Great Ocean Road. NOTE-there is separate access to the second bedroom downstairs and it is on its own key code. If you do not need second bedroom there is no additional charge. When booking both bedrooms for 2 people there is a $50 extra cleaning and linen charge

Great any time of the year, with uninterrupted views directly into the forest and river, you are surrounded by nature and wildlife - beautiful birds abound, kangaroos graze and if you look carefully, you'll spot a koala. The beach is a short walk, at night there are no lights or sounds, just peace. Our rustic cabin has its own personality and features a wood heater with bakers oven, comfortable furnishings, and all the amenities you need including a fully stocked kitchen, wifi and board games.

Step onto the Kennett River nature walk that passes along the river below the house to see koalas and kangaroos, or walk the river side 4 mins to the beautiful Kennett River beach front.

Relax and take in the majestic views toward Apollo Bay, across the Bass Strait and Otway Ranges. Wake up to the sound of kookaburras laughing, and look up to see koalas in the trees.
