Everyone comes to Cappadocia for a main reason and that is the Hot Air Balloon Experience. For me I like to experience other stuff excluding the norm (although I did the hot air too), I like to have a peaceful place, able to walk around without any issues, see daily stuff that the locals do, the life they live, the houses they call home. So basically Oguz’s home is actually his birthplace that he has revamped beyond expectations to accommodate the evolving tourism industry. His home is only 10km (a 15 mins bus ride from city centre) to Goreme (the main town of Cappadocia). Goreme to me is too busy and packed for my liking, things are also more expensive for sure. His home has everything you need, cleanliness, hospitality, service, daily bfast(served by them), tour advice, probably more stuff I didn’t ask. It’s a perfect place to stay at, you won’t regret it. Look out for his mom, she is super nice! I will definitely stay at his place if I ever get another chance.

We loved Ortahisar and Ruth’s place was really lovely. So fun to stay in such a stylish cave hotel. Thank goodness for the warmth of the cave because it was cold in Cappadocia!! Thanks to Necla for her tips and welcoming presence.

Aydin was a great host! Very welcoming, responsive and friendly. His accommodations are exactly as described and we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and the quiet, beautiful view. The town is very convenient without being touristy. If you want to do tours, balloon rides, etc., I would recommend asking Aydin for guidance.

This place was truly special, if you’re looking for a place with a deep and historical connection to the land in Cappadocia, this is the place for you as the space has been a real home for generations. Fatma is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, she was motherly, warm and kind, always responsive but treated us like family. The morning breakfasts are excellent and whilst there are many options for accommodation, Fatma’s kindness makes this place so special and a place we are sure to visit. The town of Ortahisar feels like a small town, with many different characters but all lovely and caring. If you wish to have a calm and peaceful stay away from the bustle of Goreme, this is the place for you. Fatma also has great deals on hot air balloon rides, so be sure to ask her about it. Thank you to Fatma and Ali for their hospitality and their kindness, we will never forget you ❤️🥰

Uygun fiyatlı ve gezi planımıza uygun olduğu için seçtik. Çatı katı, gayet güzel. 2+1, tek banyo, iki tuvaleti var. Isıtma elektrikli, hava serin olduğu için ilk gece biraz yetersiz geldi ama idare ettik. Elektrikli eşyaları teker teker çalıştırmak gerekiyor yoksa sigorta atıyor. Ama Türklerin alışık olduğu bir durum. Evsahibi hızlıca yardımcı oldu. Otopark sorunu yok. En çok sevdiğim şey ise çamaşır makinasinin üzerindeki çamaşır deterjanı oldu. Ayrıca çay, kahve ikramları da çok hoş bir ayrıntı. Her şey çok güzeldi. Eğer hava daha güzel olsa terasında balonların uçuşunu görebilir, balon eşliğinde yemek yiyebilirsin. Bir sonraki sefere diyelim. Çok teşekkürler. Ürgüp içinde çok trafik ve otopark sorunu oluyor, burada o trafiğe maruz kalmıyorsunuz. Hem uygun fiyatlı, hem rahat, ulasim kolay, huzurlu. Tavsiye ederim.

Daha önce bu kadar evimde hissettim bir yerde konaklamamıştım. Ev sahibine ve değerli ailesine kucak dolusu sevgiler. Samimi sohbetleri ve misafirperverlikleri çok değerliydi. Her şey fotoğraflarda görüldüğü gibiydi. Sabahları sundukları ev yapımı reçeller ve diğer ürünlerle kahvaltı çok keyifliydi. Bir akrabamıza ziyarete gitmişiz gibi bizi misafir ettiler.
